Gears 5 Tech Test preload is now available through the Windows Store to Game Pass subscribers and users who have pre-ordered

The Gears 5 Tech Test pre-load is now available for Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, as well as those who have pre-ordered Gears 5. Unlike Halo: The Master Chief Collection's recent beta testing taking place on Steam, Gears 5's testing will only be available on the Windows Store (though the game will be receiving a Steam release).

For those eligible, follow this link to reach the Windows Store page for the Gears 5 Tech Test and begin the 13GB download.

The Tech Test will have two playable periods, the first starting on July 19th at 10am PDT until July 22nd at 10am PDT.

The second will begin on July 26th at 10am PDT until July 29th at 10 AM PDT.

Furthermore, Windows 10 version 1903 will also be required.
