Today, Microsoft and The Coalition announced that the Gears of War Technical Test for Gears 5 is releasing on Windows 10. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC users will have access, along with users that pre-order Gears 5. The pre-load will be available on July 17th, at 10am PDT.

There will be two testing periods, July 19th-July 22nd, and July 26th-July 29th. Three modes will be available, Arcade (a new revision of Gears’s Versus mode), Escalation, and King of the Hill. These modes will be playable across two maps.

The announcement post also provided a chart displaying minimum specs, recommended specs, and ideal specs.
