AnotherGills 25 Share Posted June 22, 2019 After over a month of radio silence, a Halo Community update written by 343 Industries Community Coordinator John Junyszek, was released regarding the upcoming commencement of Halo: The Master Chief Collection's beta program (officially referred to as flighting). Junyszek stated that “if everything goes according to our plan, our first flight for Halo: Reach on MCC PC will be next week.” Since Halo: The Master Chief Collection was announced for PC in March, 343 Industries had announced the flighting program for the latest addition to the collection, Halo: Reach. Unfortunately, little news regarding the flighting program was revealed since the initial unveiling. In April, 343 Industries Community Manager Brian Jarrard posted a tweet stating that flighting would begin later in the month. However, on April 29th, Jarrard announced in a Halo Insider forum post that the beta would be delayed, and had provided no details on a future date for the beta. This initial flighting is currently planned to take place on the Steam platform. Hopefully, 343i’s plans will proceed smoothly. Those interested in taking part in the flighting program can sign up for the Halo Insider Program, which will allow users to be considered for flighting access.
