Garrett 214 Share Posted February 11, 2015 PC Reports should state the specific patch version tested since so many recent games have had significant changes after the initial release (this would make it easier for readers to know whether the report is still applicable). It would also be useful to mention the store/service since there are patch/feature availability differences in some cases. It would also be useful to have a standard mention of how the review copy was acquired, both in the interest of full disclosure and also to highlight the helpful developers and publishers that have assisted by supplying review codes for their games. Some reports have already been done this way.
Guest Share Posted February 11, 2015 Would the build number be fine if there's no clear changelogs?
Garrett 214 Author Share Posted February 11, 2015 Sure, whatever identifier would identify the version that was tested.
Guest Share Posted February 12, 2015 Should these infos be included at the end or at the beginning.
Garrett 214 Author Share Posted February 25, 2015 It would go at the top along with the test system and the other such specifics. (I noticed I didn't reply to this earlier)
