About This File

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view in the tactical FPS game "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" (2001), as the engine crops the image at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3 (Vert-).

Instructions:

1. Extract all files to the game folder.

2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.

3. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV and FOV factor in TomClancysGhostReconFOVFix.ini.

4. Rename or delete dbghelp.dll in the game folder (this step is required, otherwise the ASI loader file will make the game hang at startup).

The sceenshoots are all at a height of 1080 but how do you get it. The value is overwritten every time.

Suppose I want 5760 x 1080 in the Tomclancysghostreconfovfix.ini is clear, but what do I have to set in the game. What does the fovFactor mean

FOV fix =/= widescreen fix. My fix only fixes the FOV, nothing else. You have to set the resolution either in-game or through the config file. The resolution setting in my fix only fixes the FOV for a given resolution. For a bigger HUD, use dgVoodoo2, so set a lower in-game resolution with same aspect ratio and put 5760x1080 in dgVoodoo2's "DirectX" tab. Also the fov factor option merely increases the FOV beyond the calculated one for the resolution you put in the ini file.
