Until Dawn Remake skip AVX check

About This File

File to bypass AVX check, necessary when launching the Until Dawn Remake on Steam through a translation layer through CrossOver or Whisky on a Mac. Your computer must still support AVX instructions!

Instructions:

  1. Download the file and extract (password: pcgw)
  2. Navigate to Steam install of Until Dawn Remake (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Until Dawn\Windows\Bates\Binaries\Win64\)
  3. Rename original Bates-Win64-Shipping.exe to Bates-Win64-Shipping_orig.exe
  4. Copy Bates-Win64-Shipping.exe
  5. Launch game

Will this patch work on the Windows PC version of Until Dawn? My CPU doesn't have AVX2, but it does have AVX. The game doesn't start after loading shaders when the AVX check is performed. Could you do the same on Windows? Please, I want to play this game so much.

Unfortunately now I can't fix AVX2 instructions, but in the future it will be possible.
