Xbox controller fix for Need for Speed The Run

By default, Need for Speed The Run tends to ignore Xbox controllers on newer versions of Windows. This .zip archive aims to fix the issue. The files included are:

  • dinput8.dll
  • x360ce.ini
  • xinput1_3.dll

Installation instructions:

  1. Download the attached archive (NFSTheRun-XboxControllerFix.zip).
  2. Extract the archive.
  3. Copy and paste the files in the game's installation directory. By default, it should be: Program Files\EA Games\Need for Speed The Run
  4. Connect the controller and play the game.
