Sorry to dig this up three years later, but I'm having trouble installing the patching using the latest version of xdelta. The instructions on PCGamingWiki end up yielding an error that is something along the lines of "too many filenames".

 

This is my only hope of playing this game because the narrow FOV causes me severe motion sickness. If possible, would you be able to provide instructions on how to correctly apply your patch? Thank you.

This doesn't address the issue. Following the instructions, the last step produces the "too many filenames" message.
