Spider-Man (2000) PC – ground textures appear white in one level

Hello everyone,

I’ve been replaying the classic Spider-Man (2000) PC port, and I’ve run into a strange graphics issue. In one particular level "Race to the Bugle", the ground/floor textures show up completely white, while the rest of the game (sky, walls, characters) looks normal. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

Things I’ve tried so far:

  • dgVoodoo 2 (DX11 output → game runs but textures stay white; DX12 → game won’t launch)

  • DxWnd → no effect

  • Windows compatibility settings → no effect

The game itself runs fine otherwise — the issue seems to affect only the ground textures in this one stage.

Question:
Has anyone encountered this before? Was there ever a fan patch, a wrapper configuration, or a texture replacement that fixes it?

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
