Adventure Pinball Forgotten Island (2001) - Widescreen resolutions don't work

Recommended Posts

So this is an Unreal Engine 1 game, so changing to a widescreen resolution is just going to the game's ini file and changing the FullscreenViewportX and FullscreenViewPortY values, and setting UseFullscreen to True in [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice], just like other UE1 games that I did this and works fine (some of the upper and lower parts of the screen are cut but you get widescreen). But when I do that in this game, this happens, apparently defaults to 1280x1024 🤨 and HUD becomes really messed up, and yes, I set the .ini file as read-only, so the engine wouldn't overwrite the resolution I set. I'm using dgVoodoo as well, but didn't force any resolution on it. Can anyone try to fix this, I really wanna play this game, since it seems really cool, a pinball game in actual 3D.
