Jet Car Stunts stuck loading non-tutorial levels forever

I tried playing the PC version of Jet Car Stunts. I loaded into a tutorial level and all seemed fine. When I tried a proper platforming or time trial level the game just kept loading way longer than the tutorial levels, it just kept loading and loading until I lost my patience and used Alt+F4 to get out of the game. I tested 3 times in a row and got the same outcome, tutorial levels loading in a few seconds while non-tutorial levels keep loading forever. PC specs:

Windows 10 64-bit

8GB RAM

AMD Ryzen 3 3200G

AMD Radeon RX Vega 8

512GB 7200RPM HDD (the media that the game is installed on)
