Description: This mod introduces several new features and options to the game, most notably being able to switch styles on demand for Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition (PC 2006). - Serpentiem (Style Switcher) This is for archiving purposes which includes the old versions that are found in the internet. Requirements: - Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition v1.3.0 JPN Update (Mirror Link) - DirectX Redist (June 2010) or use the Web Installer - Visual C++ Redistributables 2015-2022 x86 and x64 or use the All in One version Installation: 1. Download and install the required files. Also update the game. 2. Select one of the following Style Switcher version and read the "readme.txt" files. 3. Download and extract the "Xbox Controller Fix" within the DMC3SE folder. Additional stuffs made by muhopenspores (DMC3 Inputs Thing - use this with Style Switcher v3.0+) Installation (only for Style Switcher v3.0+): 1. When installing the Style Switcher Mod, select "0" when prompted. 2. Download the "dinput8.dll" and "SDL2.dll" in the Releases section. If "1" was selected during the previous instruction and using the Xbox Controller Fix, use the "dsound" build (still has bugs). 3. Move the files inside the DMC3SE game folder. 4. (Skip this step when using dsound build) Rename/move/delete "dmc3se.ini" to prevent controller configuration conflicts. 5. Run the game. Pressing "Insert" key should show an overlay that enables different option of mod features.

This update installer is based on the official Japanese patch of Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition 2006 PC port. Other people are having problems when using the official patch so I made this to make it easier. Before After The "Mov" and "InstallPath" registry will follow the Installation Folder's path. You still might wanna mess with the Registry since the "Language" will be set to default as English. 1. Open Registry Editor (Win + R, enter regedit). 2. For x64, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CAPCOM\Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition For x86, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition 3. Modify the "Language" value then select one of the following numbers: 0 - English 1 - Japanese 2 - German 3 - French 4 - Italian 5 - Spanish 4. Exit Registry Editor then Launch the game.
