  1. Hello, I tried doing the second part of the steam overlay bug fix to get the overlay working, by turning off GL extensions but Quake 3 crashes. Also, I tried out Quake 3 on my laptop today and it worked just fine with the Steam overlay. I didn't have to change anything, either in steam or in game. My laptop's specs: Intel i5 processor Intel HD 3000 graphics Windows 7 64 bit. My desktop's specs: AMD FX 4300 ATI 5770 graphics card Windows 7 64 bit. I have the 1.32 Point Release patch. My question is what is going on and how can I fix it? I posted this same question on the Steam forums, but I thought that I might get a better answer on here.
