[2026] Intel Indeo Video Decompressor Fix (VfW) - Fix vids:IV32 / IV50

Roadmap & Future Improvements:

 +   Pre-Install Check: Adding a routine to verify system permissions before copying files.

 +   Unlocker tool is now only required in exceptional cases.

Version 1.0.0 served as the first public proof-of-concept, designed to provide a quick and effective solution for black video sequences in classic titles (such as AoE1, C&C, Thief). During this phase, the primary focus was on pure functionality and immediate results.

    Simple 1-Click Solution: The batch script was optimized for rapid execution to register the necessary Indeo components without detour.

    Core Functionality: In this rapid development stage, the script focused exclusively on the essential tasks—copying the files and setting the crucial registry hooks for IV32 and IV50 decompressors.

    Minimalist Design: This version lacked automated language detection and advanced security checks, serving as a direct tool for experienced users needing immediate access to retro cinematics.

    Direct Bugfixes: Successfully addressed "Video not found" errors and the notorious white screens with red stripes.

This patch is currently in BETA. It has been tested for stability, but due to the variety of hardware and software configurations, feedback is welcome. If you encounter any issues, please report them so the patch can be updated.
