· Gabriel Knight 3: "English to Spanish conversion"

-These files transform all versions (mainly English version) of Gabriel Knight 3 to the Spanish version (texts, some textures and videos).

-Copy all files into the directory of the game (where you find "GK3.exe").

*-Is MANDATORY to change the registry to the game to detect the language. 

-- 3 Ways --

1.- Run "language_setup.exe" and choose the option "Spanish", and push into "save and exit". It's done.

2.- Use the reg file "GK3_Spanish.reg" double-click and say "yes".

3.- If you delete all the game's "registry" files, running the game with the new "gk3.ini" does the same thing, but if you have an old registry, then using option 1 or 2 is mandatory. You can use "GK3_Reg_Delete.reg" to delete the registry (do not use it if you don't know what it does).

-Note:-

The file "gk3.ini" contains a lot of things, explained inside the file, but for the translation these are the important ones:

"Language = S"
"Custom Paths = Textures; Spanish Fix"

*Warning: "Language =" S or E only works if there is no registry installed, if a previous registry is installed the language does not change via "gk3.ini".

This file allows to "patch" every version of the game because the game uses the files in those folders insted of "originals" that are stored in "Data" folder. This way you won't lose any files or touch anything from the original game.
-To return to original (english), you need to change this option:

"Custom Paths = Data" 

- This disables the translation.
- To change lenguage to English use: "GK3_English.reg" or "Language_setup.exe" choosing the English instead Spanish.

-Note 2:-

If you initiate a game in Spanish and you save, you need to
continue the game with the language you start.
 
The save files are not 100% compatible between languages, because they maintain some data from the language which you start the game.

-Note 3:- (This is a preservation translation mainly)
I only put a few (very few) fixes here, I only fix some things that affect SYDNEY (the game's computer) but that's all... for now... the game is as "buggy" as I remember whey play it many years ago.

*-Extras:* includes the graphic novel, manual and readme in Spanish.
