These are the retail patches for Postal.

- Euro-violence: Violence.exe
- Original release (Mac OS): Postal.hqx
- Postal Plus: PostalPlusPatch.zip
Notes for Going Over the Edge editions:
- Windows: the Euro-violence patch must be applied before the retail patch.
- Mac OS: the configuration file (PostalUK.INI, PostalFr.INI, PostalGr.INI, etc.) must be renamed to POSTAL.INI after patching.

Released
Original release (Windows):
- Fixes problems for people with no sound card installed or if you get errors saying your soundcard does not support 16-bit sound.
- Fixes a Direct X bug that would cause dialog boxes to appear behind the Postal window so that it looked like you couldn't save the game.
- Adds joystick support.
Original release (Mac OS):
- (Level editor) Enables you to use the TAB key with a number key in place of the Function Keys. For example, instead of pressing F1, you now can press TAB and 1.
Postal Plus:
- This patch fixes problems for users running Windows 2000 and XP experiencing very choppy audio and slowed game performance.
