  1. Hello everyone, I am trying to get a Directx7 game working on Windows 10. It has been a complete nightmare. I was up at 1 AM today clenching my jaw like a methhead, trying many wrappers and programs like dxwnd, dgvoodoo2, dxwrapper, etc, with very little progress. That game is Virtual Pool 3. Without any third-party software, the game opens and closes immediately, with zero image on the screen. With DDrawCompat, however, a black window appears and the game gives me a message asking for me to put my email in, before closing immediately. This is the most amount of progress I've gotten so far. People HAVE gotten this game working on windows 10... How is a complete fucking mystery to me: Dude on Celeris forum claiming to get it working with DXWND: http://www.celeris.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18663#p18663 (No instructions) Video of dude playing on Windows 10: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Xjt2ypgVmg (possibly the same dude as on the Celeris forum) If anyone thinks they can get the game working, here is the latest version on the Celeris official website: http://www.celeris.com/games/vp3/patch/ I've also tried everything stated above with the 1.0 CD version of the game. (8 years older than the above link) That version actually opens on Windows 10 without any wrapper software, but gives a white window with a text box saying that the CD is not in the CD drive. I'd rather get the latest version working anyway.
