Information on where games are cut / censored

Recommended Posts

In countries like Germany or Australia, video games are regularly released in cut / censored versions because of local laws. What is the best way to convey this information in an article? It's not overlapping with language versions, since Australia obviously uses English, and German language games are also usually uncensored in Austria and Switzerland. Is there any template or guideline for how to include this information?

IIRC, this is usually added as a key point ({{--}}) under the availability table. It might be in the "Version differences" section for pages that have that, but that section's content usually is folded into the availability key points if there aren't a significant number of different versions.

Extensive elaboration on how things are censored would probably belong in an external link or in a {{note}}.
