Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion, Shadowbringers, enters early access period tomorrow

Recommended Posts

The latest expansion pack for Square-Enix’s massively multiplayer online RPG, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, entitled “Shadowbringers”, is set to officially launch on July 2nd, 2019.

However, those who have pre-ordered Shadowbringers will gain access a few days early, starting on June 28th, at 5 A.M. EDT.

This new expansion adds a chock-full of content, including new areas, new story quests, two new classes, as well as increasing the level cap of every class from 70 to 80.

Another major addition (with scant details revealed) is the inclusion of an upcoming crossover raid with another popular Square-Enix title, Nier:Automata.

Purchasing Shadowbringers will also grant access to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's two previous expansion packs, Heavensward and Stormblood, providing a substantial discount for owners of the base game who have skipped the previous expansion packs.

Do you play Final Fantasy XIV, and if so, do you plan on picking up Shadowbringers?
