Download the archive, unpack it with 7zip or similar software, then point the patcher matching your aspect ratio at \TSCGame\Binaries\Win64\TSCGame-Win64-Shipping.exe within the game folder. This will match the FOV to the default 16:9 vertical value and remove the pillarboxing from the dialogue scenes. Tested at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.
  2. Version 1.0

The patcher makes the game use ultrawide and wider resolutions. Patch the game file as instructed by the tool. Remove %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\PenduloStudios\Blacksad\config.bs if present. Launching the game should have it default to the desktop resolution, regardless of what is displayed in the settings. Making changes to Video - Advanced settings 1 will reset the resolution. Restart the game to have it return to the proper resolution after applying any graphics settings within that menu. Tested the latest GOG version briefly at 2560x1080 and 5760x1080 You can buy me a coffee here.

Unpack the archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool and press the keys as instructed All trainers based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest Microsoft Store / Game pass version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Minecraft Dungeons Launcher version tested at 2560x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.

Unpack the archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool and press the shown key to disable or re-enable black bars. All trainers based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080 and 3840x1080. Let me know if you run into any in-game issues tied to the fix. 5. Version 3.4

    17,216 downloads

The tool removes black bars from the in-game cutscenes, cinematic cameras, shops and a number of other areas at 21:9 and wider resolutions. Since version 2.0 it also removes pillarboxing from the photo mode. Since version 3.0, it allows for custom FOV adjustment. Launch the game first, then the tool. The password for the archive is pcgw As expected from a trainer based on CE components, this tool does get falsely flagged by some anti-virus software as a trojan, while the rest correctly mark it as a "hacktool". Use the tool provided here at own risk and ideally avoid playing RDR Online without completely disabling the fix - especially the FOV hack. Tested at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Additionally confirmed as working by two volunteers from WSGF. You can buy me a coffee here.

  9. Version 2.0.1

    2,448 downloads

The mod previously removed pillarboxing from the gameplay and menu, letterboxing from the cutscenes and adjusted FOV at 21:9 and wider resolutions. As of update 1.028a, the game only needs FOV adjustment to compensate for the reduced vertical FOV at the cutscenes at 21:9 and wider. The tool allows for real-time FOV adjustment affecting both the cutscenes and the gameplay. As any trainer based on CE components, it may trigger some anti-virus software. Use software like 7zip or PeaZip to unpack the archive. The password is pcgw Launch the game first, followed by the tool. Enable custom FOV adjustment and tweak FOV to preference. Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. The game copy was generously funded by AlRayes of Ultrawide Benchmarks. You can buy me a coffee here.

Option 1 (patchers): Unpack the patcher archive and use the applicable tool to patch the exe in \MoonMan\Binaries\Win64\ within the main folder. This will adjust FOV to match the vertical of 16:9. The tool also aims to remove all pillarboxing except from pre-rendered cutscenes but this may come at the cost of reduced FOV in the starting cutscene. Some further cutscenes are confirmed as having more horizontal FOV but there is no way to guarantee every cutscene will display correctly without playing through the game. Option 2 (trainer, supports Microsoft Store): Unpack the trainer / Game Pass archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the black bars removal key before a cutscene and use the other buttons to adjust FOV as desired Tested the latest GOG and Microsoft Store versions at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. In the Generals tab, make sure Keep window aspect ratio is unchecked, and Appearance is set to fullscreen with Scaling mode set to unspecified. 9. The simple patcher removes the zoom limitations affecting ultrawide and wider resolutions. Compared to the manual solution, it does not depend on any specific aspect ratio. There is no reliable fix for the windowboxing at the cutscenes yet and I've had better results in the demo. Tested the latest full GOG version at 2560x1080 and 5760x1080. A total overhaul of the old Flawless Widescreen script for GTA V that has been dysfunctional for many months if not longer. As before, it allows for fine-tuning of FOV per each view - first person, in-vehicle, ADS, and third person. It also allows to remove the pillarboxing at cutscenes at 21:9 and wider, although having the latter enabled may cause some confirmation prompts to disappear at 32:9 and wider until disabled. Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). Launch Flawless Widescreen, select Grand Theft Auto V (updated) and set everything to preference. Tested the latest game version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080. The game features FMVs and rendered cutscenes that get pillarboxed at 21:9 and wider resolutions. This patcher removes the black bars from the rendered cutscenes and has no effect on the FMVs as there is no way to hack a pre-recorded video to add more content. By default, Mafia II Definitive Edition not only adds black bars to all cutscenes at 21:9 and wider but also simultaneously vertically "crops" pre-recorded FMVs. The two included patchers serve as two options (don't use both!): Remove all black bars - FMVs stay cropped (vert- from 16:9). Remove black bars only from rendered cutscenes and fix FMV scaling. Tested the latest Steam version primarily at 2560x1080, briefly at 3440x1440 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee here or support me on patreon.
