Fixed crash if some items used after they've been destroyed (fixes crash in MM_Marsh if player destroys force field as squad leader tries to disable it for example). Additional fix for decolayer density change for Sulferon Assault (and other maps with corrupt terrain info's). Possible fix for DirectMusic-related "GetEventTool" crashes. Fixed bug report system sometimes crashing or silently failing due to long URLs. Fixed GetOggDuration crash if “nosound" used. Fix for sound-related crash when exiting some levels with DirectX 9. Performance 10% improvement in golem mesh rendering performance. Fixed unnecessary particle lighting overhead problem. For performance reasons, most carcasses are cleaned up more quickly now. For performance reasons (mainly in marsh) dropped energy rifles are cleaned up after 10 seconds. M08B: improved performance by making sure generator rotating movers only rotate when they are visible. MM_Marsh: added field generator and turret to PreCacheList to avoid hitches when these appear. M12: fixed particle overhead. Added new code/changes to limit overhead due to ragdoll deaths (see "Advanced Tips for Improving Performance" in the readme for details). Fixes Sound fixes. Should reduce occurrences of sound "stuttering" that some people have had due to sound overload / thrashing. Fixed player dodge speed and height. Sunlight fix (flickering in waterfront and potentially other places). MM_Waterfront: fall out of world fix. M12: fixed sun disappearing in opening cutscene with ParticleDensity=0. Also CS_Outro, PA_Acheron, PD_Acheron. Display gamma/brightness/contrast values when changed via F10/F11/F12 keys. Fix for inert skaarj lying prone on bank in M08B (skaarj will now react to hearing the player even if player bypasses trigger). Fix for "Joe's" script breaking in M10_Avalon in some cases. Fixed changing actor detail level in-game could result in invisible NPCs (in TutA). Made key bindings delete button more obvious (click on this to delete key bindings). Fix from Jason Yu for bots sometimes not respawning after being killed in botmatches. Added files needed to fix umod support. The umod registry settings will also need to be modified for Unreal II umods to work. We're working on making a separate downloadable installer for this but in the meantime, people who installed the game in the default folder can click on the .reg file in Unreal2Help. Increased crawling spider damage by 3x. Fixed rammers not attacking properly. Fix for Golem references being lost resulting in "invisible" NPCs if game saved/loaded prior to spawning in NPCs which use a mesh which is no longer in the level. Fixed music not playing issue with some levels. Changes for v1403 Added carcass cleanup particle effect. Added support for modifying player movement speed via Unreal2.ini setting (for the duration of the game). For example, to increase the player's movement speed by 50% set PlayerSpeedRatio=1.5 in the [u2GameInfo] section. M08B: fixed trigger that player could avoid. Added 70 and 72 Hz to refresh rates options. Support for scaling the hud / ui to better support multiple monitor setups. This can now be controlled via the ScaleX, ScaleY, OffsetX, - OffsetY properties in the [uI.UIConsole] section in Unreal2.ini. For example, use ScaleX=0.333 and OffsetX=0.333 for three screen support. Added "mouse over" context information for the EAX check box. Warns against enabling EAX on non-Audigy / Audigy 2 cards and warns about possible performance issues. AI for v1403 Mod authors can once again enable script warnings / errors by setting bDisableErrorMessages=false (by default all script warnings / errors are silent). These were completely disabled for RC7 with the intent of re-enabling these for the patch. Note that you have to enable the Component=Console.MessageArea line in UIScriptsUI.ui (remove the ";") to see debug messages in-game. Editor for v1403 Fix for not being able to paint on terrain in editor. Fix for terrain build crash if no terrain map in level. Fixed editor "first run" (UnrealEd.ini added to system folder). Fixed WBrowserStaticMesh::UpdateMenu crash. Fixed crash if you clicked on delete in the decolayer terrain tool, without a decolayer actually being selected. Testing / Stats for v1403 Improved in-game profiling support / logging. Improved in-game stats. Added "stat lock". Other Added Mike Lambert to in-game credits.

Fixed a bug where zooming out after targeting a player sometimes left the player's name onscreen. Fixed a bug preventing joysticks from being disabled.

Turtle Ships have Heated Shot and additional armor vs. Galley-line ships. Korean villager LOS increased by +1. Turtle Ship artwork is changed to be more realistic. War Wagon and Elite War Wagon range is reduced. [*]Spanish Hand Cannoneer and Bombard Cannons fire 15% faster. Fire rate for Conquistadors and Elite Conquistadors is also improved. Units All archery range units (except Hand Cannoneers) now do +1 additional damage to Spearman-line units. Camels are now as quick to train as spearmen. Viking Berserks now move as fast as pikemen. Celtic Woad Raiders now move faster (they run faster than Eagle Warriors who lack Squires). Bombard Cannons cause +80 additional damage to buildings. Training time for Teutonic Knights, Longboats, Tarkans, and Samurai is significantly reduced. Cavalry Archers now have equal range to Heavy Cavalry Archers. Scout Cavalry get +2 attack in the Feudal Age. Galleys now take 60 seconds to produce (War Galleys & Galleons still take 45 seconds). Fireships & Fast Fireships have additional armor vs. Galley-line ships. Fireships cause additional damage vs. Turtle Ships. Korean War Wagon cost increased to 120 wood 60 gold. Buildings Castles now take longer to build. Bombard Towers now do piercing damage instead of normal damage (the major effect is vs. rams). Technologies Loom provides +1 additional Pierce armor. Palisade walls get +3 additional Pierce armor. Treadmill Crane, Masonry, Architecture, Hoardings, Fortified Wall, Guard Tower, and Keep have had their stone cost replaced with wood or food. Enhancements Open ground is always green on the mini map, even on snow or sand terrain. Black Forest is no longer an option if you select Random Map or Land Random. Farms can be queued to 40. Blind Random Map – Multiplayer only. Selects randomly between a number of different map types, and you are not told what kind of map you are playing on. Turbo Random Map — In this mode, all buildings work 2.5 times faster except when building econ units (fishing boats, trade ships & carts, villagers). All economic units gather 2.5 times faster and carry 2.5 times as many resources. All trade units work 2.0 times faster. Villagers construct buildings 2.5 times faster except for castles, towers, & wonders. To play this new Turbo style, select “Turbo Random Map†from the Game Type menu in either single player or multiplayer mode. Custom Random Maps — New ES Custom Maps are in the patch. To select one, go to Map Style and click “Custom.†Note that these maps are NOT guaranteed to work effectively vs. a computer opponent or for certain game types. The computer opponents assume that all Custom maps are Coastal, so a map type that is quite different may hinder the computer opponents’ typical skill level. Also, if you play Regicide on ES@Pilgrims_v2, you do not receive a starting castle. If you play Regicide on ES@Metropolis_v2, you get three kings and three castles. If you have 7-8 players on ES@Pilgrims_v2, some players may instantly resign. The following maps are included. For full descriptions, go to http://www.ensemblestudios.com/aoeiix/docs/rms.shtml. ES@Canals_V2.rms — A network of canals creates a spider web effect as they try to connect every player’s starting town. ES@Capricious_V2.rms — Starting food, gold and stone might be at normal levels, in short supply, or in abundance. Starting trees will always be the same. ES@Dingos_V2.rms — Villagers shepherd their flocks while avoiding rampaging wild animals. Lots of sheep, lots of wolves, no Scout. ES@Graveyards_V2.rms — Control weed-choked graveyards packed with scary trees and abandoned buildings that conceal resources and ancient relics. ES@Metropolis_V2.rms — Control three Town Centers, three sets of villagers, three Scouts and three sets of resources! ES@Moats_V2.rms — Each player’s town is surrounded by a narrow body of water with several land bridges for access and moats narrow enough for ranged units to fire across. ES@Paradise_Island_V2.rms — Start on a tropical island with your enemies. The map is loaded with fish, boars, and berries. Find the three relics at the base of the volcano in the center, but beware of the guardians! ES@Pilgrims_v2.rms — Your starting island may be small, but there is a whole new world to discover! Hop in your Transport and race your enemies to the new world! ES@Prairie_V2.rms — Food is often scarce and there aren’t a lot of natural defenses, but your two Scouts can cover a lot of ground. ES@Seasons_V2.rms — Based on the 4 seasons in a year, with a 25% chance of loading up a Winter map, Spring map, Summer map, or Autumn map. ES@Sherwood_Forest_V2.rms — Multiplayer only. Your town is surrounded by forests, yet you can walk freely through them. Use your hunting wolf to scout the terrain or for sneak attacks on your enemy’s villagers. ES@Sherwood_Heroes_V2.rms — Single player version of Sherwood Forest. Start out with some familiar heroes. ES@Shipwreck_V2.rms — A few bruised villagers and their waterlogged sheep stranded on a desert island. ES@Team_Glaciers_V2.rms — In the frozen north, each team must defend its own hunk of ice and snow against frequent enemy raids. Bad weather makes ships and walls rare, though strangely, this has led to a bumper crop of deer. ES@The_Unknown_V2.rms — Everything is random. Everything. From the moment the game starts, you have to scout (with a random number of Scouts, of course) to figure out whether you are on an island, a mainland, or inside a clearing of trees. Bug Fixes Male Mayan farmers are now as good as females. Imperial Age Houses now have normal house armor. Villagers now walk around farms normally if stopped and started again (the infamous “Farm bugâ€). Monks no longer heal garrisoned units. Computer opponents no longer always switch to attack the opponent with the highest score. That is, they initially attack that opponent, but then they keep attacking for some time afterwards, even if that opponent’s score drops. Teuton Monk Resistance now works properly, so researching Faith is beneficial to them. On Nomad maps, Chinese, Persians, Huns, and Mayans now get the correct starting resources. Computer opponents now build lumber camps next to bamboo. Town centers now always take damage from Bombard Towers. The Team Glaciers map no longer starts players on ice terrain. The Unknown map no longer starts players surrounded by wood. This map was also revised with many small adjustments to resources, relics, and terrain. The Pilgrims map now starts off with a Lumber Camp instead of a Town Center. Extra villagers and resources have been added to player islands as well. In ParadiseIsland, players are no longer automatically defeated after launch of regicide games. Male hunters no longer get +1 LOS. Teuton Town Centers now get their attack bonus. War Wagons no longer get unintended bonus damage vs. siege.

Original sources: FilePlanet (Retail, Direct2Drive) This is the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch v1.6. The latest patch release is v1.7. 12. Version v3

Author : Wobak Original file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/v2hhut4112nj9mv/Nolf2_WidescreenPatch_v3.rar Features: -Pick supported widescreen resolutions in the display menu. -Set horizontal FOV in display.cfg, vertical, menu, weapon and cutscene FOV are calculated automatically. -Splashscreen, Menus and HUD elements are scaled and positioned properly and dont stretch anymore. -Automatic crosshair scaling and manual tweaking. Previously it had a fixed resolution and didnt scale at all. Installation: 1. Put the "WidescreenPatch" folder in "Custom\Mods" in the NOLF2 directory. 2. Run the launcher, click on "Custom" and check "WidescreenPatch" 3. Start the game, go to display and select the desired resolution. 4. Open the display.cfg file. If you havent previously launched the game with the patch enabled, the lines mentioned below wont be present and you can add them manually. 5. The line "FOV" controls the horizontal FOV,you can set it however you want. For 16:9 I suggest "90.0". [optional] 6. The cutscene letterbox scales automatically, if you are unsatistfied with the size, change the "LetterboxPercent" value. 7. Open then the autoexect.cfg file. 8. The line "CrosshairSize" changes the crosshair size. 9. The Line "RightHUDPush" can be used to offset the HUD elements on the right to the edge of the screen. For 16:9 "30" is a good value. Enjoy the game! Known Problems: -With a large display width the loadingscreen text may be cut off at the side. This is due to the text being scaled with the resolution and background with the FOV. -With a larger display width Kate will freeze before walking and afterwards disappear. This is because the user was not expected to see such a wide region of the menu. -Some menu elements dont line up with the box they are supposed to be in. This is because their positions are calculated differently. That might be fixed in the future.

Unofficial Patch for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Mirrored from Patches-Scrolls.
  14. 571 downloads

Official 1.2 patch for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Fixes: • Fixed C++ Runtime error on launch of the game due to older versions of Python interpreter. • Fixed Invalid dialog responses due to older versions of Python interpreter. • Fixed problem where keys and keycards may disappear from player’s inventory. • Fixed problem where binding either Enter or Right Mouse Button to the Use key would cause the inventory window to immediately close after opening. These bindings are now no longer permitted. • Added “Inventory Full – Items Dropped†message when player receives items beyond the inventory limit and added inspection particles to the dropped items. This addresses the issue with cameras being lost in the “Model Citizen quest. • Fixed problem where a player would have both the vampire and warform models stuck together when both Fortitude and Protean (level 5) are activated. • Fixed crash to desktop when the player returns to the boat after rescuing Johansen from the Society of Leopold. • Fixed problem where the newspaper would report success in the “Model Citizen†quest even though the player had failed it. • Fixed problem where the player can log on to the Theater computer before receiving the “Tangled Web†quest from Mitnick. • Fixed problem with haven mailboxes not receiving award for completing the food critic quest. quest. • Modified E dialog so that it is easier to receive the “Thinned Blood†quest. • Modified Regent dialog so that he now recognizes completion of the Gargoyle quest. • Modified Isaac dialog so that he now recognizes completion of the King’s Way and Gargoyle quests. IMPORTANT NOTES If you find that you are not accumulating experience points as you complete quests, this is because you have Auto-Level turned on and the game is automatically spending your experience points to improve your abilities and attributes. To disable Auto-Level, access the Character Sheet and click on the Auto-Level toggle button. Once you acquire a new haven, your Santa Monica haven computer and mailbox will no longer function. Use the computer and mailbox of your new haven instead. When you are playing a Nosferatu, your grotesque appearance prevents you from using the taxi that appears after you blow up the Sabbat warehouse. Nosferatu characters must travel between game hubs using the hub map found in the sewers.
  15. Today I bought Far Cry 4 for Uplay, via humblebundle.com. So far it's been nothing but a nightmare. When I start up the game, I get loads of black screens that I can only get passed by alt-tatbing out and back in. Once I get into the game, cutscenes also suffer from black screen, and I have to alt-tab again every time I want to progress even the smallest bit. As soon as I get control of the character, in the mansion, I can explore the first couple of levels, but I'm stuck unless I alt-tab again. Then the game triggers the audio cues and the objective update. Next cutscene. Again, once I get control of my character, when I need to run to the truck, I run out into the courtyard, there is no truck, nor any enemies. I alt-tab, and bam, everything appears. Uplay won't update the game, and I can't find any manual download/install patches either. The only fix I see is for dual-core processors, however I have an 8-core AMD FX-8350. And even then, every link I've tried to that fix is broken anyway, file no longer exists. How on earth am I supposed to play this game?

  23. Version 1.22

Extract the provided zip file, then run the executable to install. The patch claims that it works if DiRT 1.20 or 1.21 is installed. In reality, it only works with DiRT version 1.21, so install the 1.21 patch before installing this one. This patch is sometimes referred to (misleadingly) as the "1.20 to 1.22 patch".
  24. Version 1.20

This is the 1.20 patch for Colin McRae: Dirt. If you're looking to install the 1.22 patch which removes the disc check, you should install the 1.21 patch before you install the 1.22 patch. The 1.22 patch cannot be installed without first installing the 1.21 patch, and the 1.21 patch can possibly be installed without having installed the 1.20 patch first (I haven't tested installing the 1.21 patch on a fresh install of DiRT). I have successfully installed the 1.22 patch by installing the patches in this order: 1.0.0 (base game) --> 1.20 patch --> 1.21 patch --> 1.22 patch To install this patch, extract the zip file and then run the executable inside it.
  25. Version 1.21

This patch is necessary to install the 1.22 patch, which removes the disc check. The 1.22 patch claims that it requires the 1.20 or 1.21 patches installed, but in reality, it does not work with only the 1.20 patch installed. It only works with the 1.21 patch. Some have said online that you must install the 1.20 patch before installing the 1.21 patch, and I have not verified this myself. To correctly install the 1.22 patch, you should install patches in this order: 1.0.0 (base version) --> 1.10 patch (optional, this patch is included in 1.20 and 1.21) --> 1.20 patch --> 1.21 patch --> 1.22 patch As said earlier, the step with the 1.20 patch might not be necessary, but I tested the above order and it worked for me.
