This is a mini collection of essential fixes for Deus Ex (2000) which aims to provide a stable experience for people who wants to have an unaltered vanilla playthrough on modern systems. What's included: 1- Launch: An alternative launcher made by Hanfling which provides resolution selection at startup, fixes for game running at a non constant speed and disabling DEP. Doesn't feature the extensive customizations from Kentie's launcher but it's much more stable and isn't prone to crashes. 2- OpenGL Renderer: A modern OpenGL renderer made by Hanfling which provides better compatibility for modern graphics cards, this is the recommended choice. 3- Direct3D 9: An old but very stable DirectX 9 renderer made by Chris Dohnal, only use this one if you're having issues with OpenGL. 4- Direct3D 10: An DirectX 10 renderer made by Kentie which provides more graphical features such as bump mapping, parallax occlusion, HDR lighting and bloom. Not recommended for Nvidia card users. Installation: Very simple process. Just drop the System folder from this zip to where Deus Ex is installed and overwrite files when prompted, and then you just start the game.
