  1. This might be a quite a bit of a far guess, but it it might be a similar nonsense as what I experienced with Splinter Cell: Blacklist, where if you try playing that game with Uplay / Ubisoft Connect not working in offline mode, their library for online connections just looses access to lobby system and instead of having it handled properly, just does returns null pointer, that then has no check and just causes memory access violation. Cause Ubisoft is great at programming stuff.
  2. Almost perfect, except you copied the link again to file from first game. I edited it out now. Also edited your post to post to a correct file now.
  3. Also why not just upload it to https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/ and link it in article?
  4. The instructions I mean have a link that point to it. 😛
  5. Link posts to a file uploaded when we were digging with Contracts 1, so it's wrong.
  6. You'd think they'd learn. --EDIT-- Oh wait, that's Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 1 files. Not sure if it's a good idea to re-use them.
  7. Updated with new (now reverse engineered pointers). Hopefully this is the last time I need to update it (tested Origin version 48 and 49).
  8. Good idea, but sites like awful like this 😞 Has issues in the same places where I had it when I tried overriding styles.
  9. I've been experimenting with creating some overrides for it using Stylish (although you can pretty much override anything you want in common.css file by creating common.css under your own profile - but it's obviously better to come up with something that works in Stylish instead of making tons of edits of the file) as sort of a joke with CDPR announcements etc. but I am getting lost in all the dependencies, especially with stuff on Home page.
  10. Need to write these down... and yeah, while enabling Discord Logitech applet didn't prevent setup from starting it does freeze now when it does a setup preload. Great stuff 😄
  11. Sorry, don't know what to tell you - installer runs fine on my Windows 10 installation (no compatibility enabled or anything like this).
  12. Might actually not be too bad of an idea, seeing how some late 1990s and early 2000s ports featured differences comparing to console releases (like original Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay as far as I remember featured quick saving and manual saves, while console release didn't... I think developers even mentioned it in commentary) and we already have a save section... or could expend glossary.
  13. I am going to be against that, but that's on personal bias. gg deals was created by Lowcy Gier - a Polish website also tracking deals. I've had quite a negative experience with them - once, when I managed to win 2nd place in one of the competitions they've organized, but till this day - due to incompetence of competition organizers - I have not received my prize... and then multiple times over the last few years, where they have been heavily defending Epic's actions against criticism (like because they earn money from EGS sales via referral links). Finally, on more objective side - I just
  14. Let's just hope people won't be severely disappointed, hearing about how much trouble developers had to overcome and how much they had to sacrifice to get it done on time... and that this will be the last time we'll have to hear about CDPR crunching for months. 🙁
  15. Don't download dlls alone. If it says that "OpenAL32.dll is missing" and you've installed OpenAL redistributable, the issue is likely with system paths being configured incorrectly or broken - but that is weird, as OpenAL installs the DLL directly in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ and 64bit variant in C:\Windows\System32. Worst case scenario copy DLL from C:\Windows\SysWOW64 to a folder with game's executable.... either way, don't download dlls alone that come from from OpenAL, C++ redist, DirectX redist.
  16. I don't know if it's the same, but it seems like it is actually latterboxed to 21:9 on 32:9 - Which as a programmer I could actually imagine how it could have happened. Sorting this would require writing some kind of hack, cause I doubt we can get Square Enix to invest some money to make another patch.
  17. Considering WSGF list ultra-widescreen as supported (although with some glitches), it seems just nobody tested 32:9 (especially that a major releases of these monitors happened a year after the game was released) and all tests were done on 21:9, so that might be why it lists ultra-widescreen as supported... cause it does, just not 32:9 aspect ratio.
  18. Version 1.0.1
