  2. Have to agree with Newmansan, I can't imagine a large amount of people coming to the website looking for sweet deals. We're a wiki, primarily focusing on PC game fixes and providing technical information. Websites like these should be adspace, not plugged on every article. Regarding what Andytizer brought up about it possibly being included above/below the Availability table is absolutely preposterous. There's enough advertisements already, I count 4 on each page. Having an additional above/below the availability table is excessive to say the least. The one below the header on the right al

  5. Been getting back into Supreme Commander recently. Huge fan of the RTS genre - one aspect I hate is that if you just spam units you automatically win - this is applicable for most RTS but it really should be rectified, it's near impossible to win against normal AI just playing strategically/tactically as they will eventually send every unit they have over to you and wipe you out instantaneously. If you somehow manage to defend then they'll keep sending twice as many as they previously sent meaning that you can't hope to fully defend yourself solely via structures. I gave Planetary Annihila
  6. Unfortunately this is a bit of a grey zone, some settings refer to if it can be changed and some don't but this isn't made clear at all. I intend to address this in the sample article revamp I'm planning, just to make things a bit more clear. Sadly it's still in the planning stage and won't be put in motion for quite some time, so if anyone would want to jump on this task to provide clarification until I get the new sample article done you're more than welcome to as this does need to be addressed.
  7. Apologies for the lack of development on this but I plan to organize a sample article revamp at some point which this will go into. This may not occur for awhile as I'm busy managing other aspects of the website and irl stuff so for now it's up to the discretion of the editor what they would like to include in the base article in regards to these headers/templates - which will be changing when the sample article revamp happens. I want to ensure maximum consistency for every article and giving little room to "do your own thing" outside of fixes and such (which would also help forms for articles

  9. The general consensus seems to be no, and since there hasn't been any further discussion I'll consider this concluded. We won't be including Raspberry Pi support at this time.

  11. As there has been no further discussion I am going to wrap this up, it's simply not worthwhile to include default keybinds if they span over one page. This requires editing to merge together and takes too long, having a collapsible table is something we may still consider in the future if there's enough demand but for now we'll opt out of including keybinds unless they're strictly one page. I've seen plenty of games that have options of resetting to default controls so this isn't really a good argument to justify including them.

  14. Nonsense, there's no such thing as doesn't need an upgrade.
  15. PCGamingWiki Obligatory master race comment. The money you spend on that could be put towards improving your hardware. The exclusives and price per title are not worth it, the specifications are dated before it even launches.
  16. When upgrading the CPU remember to take into account the socket #; your motherboard supports 1156, haswell microarchitecture is on socket 1150 (something I want to upgrade to, but my MB requires an upgrade) and the previous is socket 1155 which is what I'm currently on. I wouldn't recommend an SSD early on, they're expensive and have a limited amount of capacity. You should focus on CPU and GFX. They're a nice benefit if you have the money, but if you don't caviar green/black will do just fine and black is the closest you could ever get to SSD speeds while being affordable.

  20. While this seems like a great resource I fail to see the relevance or benefit of including it. The wiki's primary goal is focusing on fixes, this completely goes against that and just includes an arbitrary number relating to how long a game takes to complete, not to mention it's also for all platforms so isn't directly relevant. This doesn't help someone fix or improve their game and doesn't really provide anything useful in the long run - it's personally something I would never use, even though it does seem useful in it's concept I just don't believe it's all too relevant. General informa

It allows you to zoom out farther than normal to get a somewhat better view of the battle field. I would have liked to zoomed out farther, but the games render in fog and sky. These combine to make seeing things harder when zoomed out any farther than I have them. As you may notice you can start to see the fog a little from this distance (it's a faint white haze). As of now, I do not know how, if it is even possible, to turn these off and allow for more zooming. The only way I know how to get it kind of turned off is in the Mission Editor that comes with the RDN ToolSet. However this only work
