This Flawless Widescreen script will let you override width safe area that is bounded to 90%. It will relocate HUD in the center if you play ultrawide or multi monitors.
It will also remove the black bars that the game engine forces in cinematics (rendered in 16/9 natively).
Install first Flawless Widescreen.
Download the script and unzip it in your Flawless Widescreen folder.
Run it and click MassEffectAndromedaTM on the left frame.
On the right frame, game fixes are available to en(dis)able.
Use the sliders for the HUD to relocate in game.
Alternatively, you can force HUD safe zone values by modifying the the profOpts_profile file that is located in the %USERPROFILE%\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save folder.
Locate the GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaHeight and GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaWidth lines and modify them.
Valide range is 0-1 (float value)
Note that any modification in the game settings may erase your modifications in file.
This cheat engine script allows you to modify the game FOV beyond 120.
Install Cheat engine first.
Launch the game and load your savegame. Double click the file then select the game process by cicking the computer icon.
Select the win64 game process and click ok. Click the FOV Changer script. Now you can change the FOV value that has been shown to whatever you want.
Here is a simple fix i made for this game.
You need to download and install first cheat engine.
Then start your game and load your savegame. Alt+Tab to desktop and double click the CT file provided here.
Then click on the computer to load the game process. Find it in the list and click open.
Now tick the box named FOV changer. Double click the value column on the FOV value line and enter whatever value desired.
Alt+Tab back to game the FOV should be changed.
First of all I take no credits in this script as the original one was provided by Helifax.
The one he provided is no longer working with latest update.
So I modified his script in order to make his great work effort and fixes to work.
This script will help you modify FOV and remove the vignette effect.
You need Hayden Flawless Widescreen application first.
So download it and download Helifax script.
Follow the guide provided here and replace the ResidentEvil3.lua in the Flawless Widescreen\PluginCache\Helifax\Modules\ResidentEvil3\Dependencies\Scripts folder with the one provided here.
All should work the way it was designed first.
Here is a simple hack i made to modify game FOV to whatever desired.
Download cheat engine and install it.
Download the cheat engine file here and double click it.
Start game and back to cheat engine, click on computer and then open Horizon Zero Dawn process.
Double click "<script>" on main cheat engine window.
Modify value in line 25 to whatever desired. Click Ok button. Back to main Cheat engine window tick the box next to FOV Hack.
Untick to revert FOV.
I've made a simple hack that allows anyone to hack the aspect ratio.
Aspect ratio is obtained by dividing the width by the height.
eg : 1920 / 1080 = 1.7777777
All you neeed is to install Cheat engine, double click the cheat engine file provided here (with extension .ct), start your game, alt+Tab back to desktop, then click on the computer icon of cheat engine.
Then choose the game from the process list.
you should see the script "Change Aspect Ratio Renderer" on cheat engine. Next to it double click "<script>".
The script should be opened in a new window. Locate the line 26
dq (float)3.5 Change the 3.5 value to whatever desired accordingly to your previous calculation.
Click "OK" button and now tick the box next to the script name back to the main cheat engine window.
I really was upset with the map being compressed while playing ultrawide 3 displays.
The only way to get rid of this bug was to set the game windowed borderless. It's still not perfect as the map is spaned all across my 3 displays but better with actual behavior.
But while doing this, the HUD (minimap, Texts, ammo) were left and right sided.
Player can still modify the HUD location but it would still be bounded to 90% of the viewport.
So i wrote this cheat table to overwrite the bounded locations.
This script is not perfect.
First, you have to set in your game settings the horizontal area in game to 90% and vertical one to 100%.
Then, edit the script and modify the following code :
Change the value after (float) to whatever you like between 0 and 0.95 (0 should give weird behaviors).
While in game, activate the script and then go to settings as if you were to change your horizontal HUD position in game.
You'll probably see non correct values but don't worry about that. Apply changes and go back in game.
Your HUD should be centered correctly now.
