Allows the game to work and be playable by patching the sign-in screen which relied on a dead Kunos server.
 
For v1.4 (Adrenaline Pack) of the game, could work on older versions but I'm not sure.

Extract the zip and copy all 3 .VID files into the "[GameFolder]\MOVIE\01" folder and replace the existing files.

Changes the controller deadzone from 1% to 20% like patch 1.01 does. This was achieved by modifying the respective controller configuration files in the scripts.dat file with the JuicedArchiveRipper tool.

Patch 1.01 fixes the following issues:
Collision issue when playing online Various desktop crashes Sound problems Increased deadzone for input devices from 1% to 20% Fixed conflict with Windows Media program Play on computers that have more than 2 gigabytes (GB) of memory (RAM)

MagicVX is a tool for Hot Wheels Velocity X that allows for many changes, such as: Adjustable FOV, easily enable/disable cheats, use debug options and custom game launching.
Current version is 1.0, but 0.5.0 has many more options such as allowing you to enable autosave, enable the mouse whilst in-game, adjusting health, boost and car position, more specific cheats, being able to hide the UI, lock the camera and much more! The only caveat is that it can be more buggy and more crash-prone than 1.0.

An AutoHotkey script to enable the locked buttons in the launcher if it fails the hardware check. Open AutoHotkey and run the script once the launcher is open to enable both the 'Controls' and 'Display' buttons.
