  1. Version 1.0

The tool allows to remove all black bars from cutscenes and menu screens in all chapters of Zombie Army Trilogy in real time. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool and press the shown key to disable or re-enable black bars. All trainers based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080 and 3840x1080. Let me know if you run into any in-game issues tied to the fix. You can buy me a coffee here.
  2. The Epic version of the game has not had any updates since June 19 but there are reports of crashes from people that likely don't use the mod. For example,
  3. Letterboxing refers to horizontal black bars, based on the shape of a letter box. The tools included here no longer address the pillarboxing (vertical or side black bars), as the latest game updates introduced 21:9 support and took care of those. Try switching between the available resolutions and window modes after verifying your game files.
  4. The last game update on Steam appears to have been two months ago. Try patching again or use the trainer. I tested the patcher today with the latest GOG version - no issues.
  5. It is a known issue. UI and similar elements tend to be tough to fix and I usually have to prioritize removing black bars in other games. Sorry about it! I always publish all my solutions and updates, so if I do get to fixing the subtitles issue in the future, you will find the solution here.
  6. Version 1.0.5

Compared to the other ultrawide solutions, the tool for SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated removes black bars from cutscenes and dialog screens and allows to adjust FOV in real time at any resolution, including 16:9 and 48:9. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Run the game, followed by the tool. Toggle black bars off - ideally before they appear. Don't forget to enable the custom FOV toggle before trying to adjust FOV. All tools based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest GOG version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.
  7. Hi. That is covered by "Minor UI display and alignment issues. " in the description. I know it can be a bit annoying but the issue is not game-breaking or frequent.
  8. The 32:9 option covers it. Make sure you are following the instructions and switching to Borderless or Fullscreen and selecting Apply in the game after pressing the keys. If you are using a pirated version, that may be the cause as well.
  9. It's the always-on vsync, as described in the article. Here are the solutions the article also links to.
  10. Look for the bytes as hex values, not text strings. I updated the instructions in the article to reflect this. I have no idea why the FPS patcher would affect the letterboxing though. It's not like it contains any of the game code to put it back in.
  11. I don't think that is how Steam updates work. There are a lot of cutscene skip solutions on the wiki that involve renaming or removing files. Unless verified or updated, you can use a modified exe to replace the old - just make sure it fully matches the old name.
  12. It's most likely a Steamstub issue. Adapt and follow the first steps of my DQB guide to work around it. Sadly, I'm not allowed to go into detail about Steamstub unpacking on PCGW.
  13. It's not new though. It's been in place since January. What happens when you launch it after the game and press F8?

  15. In the current version, for 3440x1440 press F8, then F6, then switch to borderless or fullscreen and apply with F (the default game key for applying settings)
  16. Version 1.0

The simple patcher removes the zoom limitations affecting ultrawide and wider resolutions. Compared to the manual solution, it does not depend on any specific aspect ratio. There is no reliable fix for the windowboxing at the cutscenes yet and I've had better results in the demo. Tested the latest full GOG version at 2560x1080 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.
  17. Are you talking about the menu or the gameplay? Can you share a screenshot of your main folder? Did you successfully patch the Assembly file?
  18. I've had two other people test it at 3440x1440 and 3840x1080. What is the issue?
  19. Version 1.1

The two-part solution allows to remove the black bars from the gameplay at 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions. Download and unpack the archive corresponding to your aspect ratio Run the patcher and target the file as instructed. Copy all the contents of the included folder to the main game folder (\Blasphemous\) Expect some minor visual glitches. Make sure to store and share your save files right away if you run into anything game-breaking. Keep in mind that instances of softlocks have been reported before the mod existed, but I am open to investigating any major issues as long as I have your save files. Tested the latest GOG version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440 and 3840x1080 for a few hours. You can buy me a coffee here.
  20. I played through the game without issues about a year ago. I additionally tested it today by accessing the options menus and the ship log after loading a saved game. I did not experience the issues at all. The unlocker doesn't affect any code but the few parts related to aspect ratios. How do I reproduce the problem? Edit: It looks like a global issue seemingly unrelated to ultrawide. See the linked posts.
  21. The archive format is 7z, as recommended in the wiki guidelines. Try unpacking with 7zip or PeaZip.
  22. What keys are you pressing? Does the Enable/disable text turn green when its button is pressed?
  23. It's working on my end right now. Make sure the game is launched first and that your anti-virus software is not blocking the tool.
  24. It already does. It only looks for the process, regardless of the file location. What you are seeing is a Windows error message, not an app error message. It looks like a permissions issue or anti-virus software blocking it in your end.
