Giants: Citizen Kabuto - EAX fix

Required to enable reverb and occlusion in the GOG.com version of Giants: Citizen Kabuto. Also streamlines the process for use with the retail version. Compatible with the 1.5 patch; if using it, install the patch first, then apply this fix. Source: https://mega.nz/#!yE9AGQSI!2TBqZid0JM9hX6XqbwLaKAgnr1Ge87L-OeKYa7Pa6s4

This version is out of date. A up to date version can be found here.

    Creative ALchemy Universal

Also, this might be a newer version.
  4. I feel like J:FO is aiming to be more of a Force Unleashed-style game than a Jedi Academy-style game. The lack of a blaster is a dead giveaway for that, as well as the much heavier lightsaber (although Padmé does mention in "Holocron Heist" that Anakin's lightsaber was heavier than she expected). It looks fun in it's own right, though, and Cal seems like a likable character. The lack of an alternative Dark Side ending is definitely disappointing, because that has been a staple in singleplayer Star Wars games since DFII.

    Loom (EGA) MT-32 Upgrade

Patch for the EGA version of Loom, enabling support for Roland MT-32 synthesizers and variants. Note that the VGA version provided on Steam and GOG uses CD audio instead and does not need this patch. loomup.exe is the original self extracting executable, originally found on LucasArts's FTP server. It is a DOS program and will not run natively on modern systems, so I ran it in DOSBox and into loomup_unzipped.zip. This should be helpful for users on 64-bit Windows, Linux, or OS X who are using ScummVM. Just copy the contents of the archive to where Loom is installed and configure ScummVM to use your preferred MT-32 emulator or physical synthesizer (just not a General MIDI device). Only major note is that save files are not intercompatible, see the "IMPORTANT NOTE" at the bottom of the readme. Official readme: Lucasfilm Games(TM) Presents THE LOOM(TM) ROLAND UPGRADE DISK TM & Copyright (C)1990 LucasArts Entertainment Co. All rights reserved. Music of Tchaikovsky Transcribed and arranged for the Roland MT-32/LAPC-1 by George Alistair Sanger Roland sound driver by Dave Warhol SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS The LOOM ROLAND UPGRADE requires an IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2, Tandy or 100% compatible with CGA, EGA, MCGA, VGA or Tandy 16-color graphics; 640K RAM; and a hard disk drive. You'll also need either a Roland MT-32 Sound Module or a Roland LAPC-1 Sound Card with appropriate connections, amplifiers and loudspeakers. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Make sure your Roland equipment is properly connected to your computer and sound system. Refer to Roland's documentation for details. 2. Enter the directory in which you have installed your LOOM game files. For example, if your LOOM files are in a directory called loom, type cd \loom at the DOS prompt and press ENTER. 3. Insert the upgrade disk into floppy disk drive A, type copy a:*.* at the DOS prompt and press ENTER. This will copy all of the files from the upgrade disk into your game directory. TO PLAY THE GAME 1. Enter the directory in which you have installed your LOOM game files. For example, if your LOOM files are in a directory named loom, type cd \loom at the DOS prompt and press ENTER. 2. Check once more to be sure that your Roland MT-32 or LAPC-1 is properly connected to your computer and sound system! 3. To begin the game, type loom r at the DOS prompt and press ENTER. THE OVERTURE The Roland version of LOOM includes a two-minute musical overture not available in any other version. You can override the overture and proceed directly to the game at any time by pressing the ESC key. IMPORTANT NOTE "Save game" files made while playing LOOM with Roland sound are NOT compatible with save files made without Roland sound. Don't try to load into your system save files made on a non-Roland system. Also, do not load the save files YOU make into a system without the same equipment. ### Source: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=38767#p349896

    Proposal: UI Scaling parameter

This seems like an important setting, especially with the prominence of high-PPI UHD monitors. True: Has option to change scaling settings. May or may not automatically scale based on selected resolution. Example: SWTOR Always on: Is automatically scaled based on resolution, but has no manual setting. Example: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Limited: Only scales certain elements (ex: graphics but not text), or cannot be scaled beyond a certain percentage of the base resolution. Example: Half-Life 2 False: Is not scaled and does not have an option to scale. Can't think of an example off the top of my head. Hackable: Hackable. Example: Quake This could go in the video settings table, or it could go in a potential accessibility table. I think probably wait until a dedicated accessibility table is made and put any info in 4K for now.

    Mysteries of the Sith demos

These are both demos for Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Mysteries of the Sith. The installers for the demos are 16-bit only, so I have taken the liberty of repackaging them as a .zip archive instead. MotSDemo contains the regular demo containing the first level, and Sith_PCG is a demo containing the second level, which came exclusively in a PC Gamer magazine demo disc. Note that the PC Gamer demo has a disc check; to play it you will need to mount MotS.iso, which is a trimmed down version of the original demo disc that can be found in the same directory as the executable. This can be done natively in Windows 10, 8.1, and 8; Windows 7 and earlier users will need a mounting software such as WinCDEmu. Enhancements.zip contains the higher quality sound effects and necessary High Detail Mod files (reorganized to work with the demo). Unfortunately, Mysteries of the Sith is pickier with redbook audio than Dark Forces II, so I was unable to add the proper background music. 12. Version

This is the demo for Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. The installer for the demo is 16-bit only, so I have taken the liberty of repackaging it as a .zip archive instead. I have also bundled the WinXP version of Microsoft Help so that Windows 10 users can read the digital manual (drag jones3d.hlp onto winhlp32.exe to read). Do not launch the game via the launcher; this will not work due to having not installed using the installer. Launch via the batch file (Launch game.bat) or by launching indy3d.exe directly. dgVoodoo 2.54 is recommended, but should not be required. Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II demo

    Version 1.0.0

This is the demo for Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II. The installer for the demo is 16-bit only, so I have taken the liberty of repackaging it as a .zip archive instead. Enhancements.zip contains the music wrapper, necessary High Detail Mod files (reorganized to work with the demo), and the proper in-game soundtrack for the included level. Jedi Outcast Higher quality icon

    Version 2.1

This icon is a replacement for the original 8-bit icon for Jedi Outcast. It uses the Steam Banner, which I have upscaled and deartefaced using Waifu2x's UpResNet10 model. I have also included the full quality version of the OpenJK icon, which I have since pushed to master on GitHub. Maui Mallard Mega Drive Soundtrack Mod

    Version 1.0.0

The soundtrack from the Mega Drive/Genesis version of Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow, converted for use in the GOG release of the Windows 3.1 version. Also included is an optional replacement for the elevator audio, also taken from the Mega Drive version. Mod by geekgamer on GOG. Soundtrack conversion by Project 2612.
  16. The editing guide says that Surround sound is only applicable to 3D games, and that 2D games should be set to N/A. However, as Rose and I have been adamant about, a 2D game can have surround sound; it just is very rare. I believe that |surround sound = should be set to N/A only if the game does not have any audio to begin with.
  17. Version 1.01

  18. Version

This icon is a replacement for the original 8-bit icon for Giants: Citizen Kabuto. It is a modified version of the icon created by Glude on GiantsWD. Their icon has a transparency effect; this icon has a plain black background like the original. Battlefront II icon

    Version 1.02

The patched version of Battlefront II that supports multiplayer over Galaxy does not include the original icon. For convenience (so that you don't need to manually rollback to the older version to grab the exe), I have extracted the icons from the original executable and provided them for download here. Battlefront II.ico contains all the original icons from the original executable. Setting a shortcut icon to use this icon should work the same way as setting it to use the original .exe. Battlefront II_256.ico and Battlefront II_512.ico are the same as Battlefront II.ico, except the contain versions of the highest resolution original resized using integer scaling to multiple higher resolutions, with the highest resolution for each being 256x256 and 512x512, respectively. They are provided so that the icons are nice and big if your desktop is set to Large Icons or File Explorer is set to Extra-Large Icons. Battlefront II Remastered.ico is extracted from the installer for Battlefront II Remastered. Battlefront II Remastered_256.ico is the same icon, but upscaled to 256x256 using waifu2x.

    Unreal Gold: Higher Quality Icon

    Version 2.1

This icon is a replacement for the original 4-bit icon for Unreal Gold and Unreal 227. It uses the 24-bit Unreal Emblem.jpg from the GOG version's bonus avatars. Comparison: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/gallery/album/138-unreal-gold-icon-comparison/ Scroll to zoom Note that the original file was a 150x150 jpeg, so there will be aliasing when viewed in "Extra Large Icons" mode.
