  1. From Steam: https://gist.github.com/vetleledaal/24d71999df0394904c73bf7d41149a68 To get the information, you can run https://github.com/SteamDatabase/SteamDatabaseBackend and gather the information from the appsinfo table, on rows where Key = 50. To roughly extract the data, I used something along the lines of https://gist.github.com/vetleledaal/8908f5847b561361136f5698e11ed1f5 (yes, it's messy)
  2. Mine is simply my legal name. For Steam it's my first and last name concatenated. Creative, I know.
  3. Sounds pretty great, hopefully you won't even need the other launchers to install and run games in the future
  4. "Date entered early access" is a bit specific, maybe "Date published" or "Date first available"? As this field is just usually the release date it should default to that. Might also account for games such as Fallout 4 that was released according to your local time zone -- Fallout 4 was first made available 2015-11-09 UTC, but the developer/publisher set release date is 2015-11-10, see https://i.imgur.com/p539rbe.png
  5. If wiki links are to be removed, we should consider making exemptions for the following sites: ftlwiki.com gunpointwiki.net prisonarchitectwiki.com siryouarebeinghuntedwiki.com
  6. As an alternative to changing the system region, you could give Locale Emulator a shot. This application was mainly intended for Japanese games, so an English profile needs to be created. Microsoft's AppLocale might also work, but I have no personal experience with it.
  7. Try resetting your password to one without the special characters: ", *, /, :, <, >, ?, \ and |. If this doesn't help i would take a look at this command.
  8. That's by design. The folders aren't actually inside of %USERPROFILE%. Those locations are referred to as 'known folders', you can create a regular folder with a special name to access them (format: Name.GUID). Sadly there's no environment variable that holds the location of these folders.
  9. I don't recall needing immediate deletion of something before. If it's urgent I would contact staff through IRC. {{Delete|reason=}} is preferable as you might want another set of eyes to take a look before deletion.
  10. The list nobody asked for: UK ONLY: https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/1086-2 https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/1232-1 https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/1831-1 https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/1911-1 https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/2988-2 DE ONLY: https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1022-1 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1063-1 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1129-1 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1129-2 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1300-1 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1302-1 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1445-4 https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/1456-1 https://de.g
  11. Update: This has been completed. Hello! I'd like to direct your attention to some articles that need some love. The articles already exists, but only contains some basic information. If you are new to PCGamingWiki this is the perfect place to start contributing. A few things you might want to know: You don't need to own the game All games are available on GOG.com Release date is from when the game was released on Steam, this would need to be corrected for older games Release date for OS X and Linux is assumed to be the same as Windows release An example edit is available
  12. All Uplay-EMEA links has been updated (again), thread can be locked.
  13. All GMG links in that format: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/alf-adventures-0a1420b9-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/lords-of-the-realm-iii-0de49bf5-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/heavy-fire-afghanistan-0d172bf4-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/heavy-fire-shattered-spear-31f1b966-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/reload-ea694109-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2-relics-and-runes-pack-uk-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/elven-legacy-magic-23c047d7-en.aspx/ https://www.greenmangam
  14. So Ubisoft changed their layout, but only for their 'other' region. So the template should be updated to: |uplay-emea = [http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-6723194-10912384?url=http://store.ubi.com/{{{link}}}.html Uplay (<abbr title="EMEA countries (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa)">EMEA</abbr>/other)] The articles needs to be changed accordingly, I have compiled a list (CSV format), this only includes games available in the 'ie' region (International English): Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Siege - Season Pass,56c4948c88a7e300458b4858 Tom Clancy's The Division™- Season Pass,5
  15. Both games in that bundle requires Steam. That's the method I use to check DRM, works reliably, as opposed to Sandboxie. (I load the games over a network mounted drive though)
  16. It's possible to download Steam games without using the Steam client. Here's one solution: https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader. I wouldn't consider the Steam client DRM.
  17. I believe a partnership would be beneficial for both parties. As for implementing links to StrategyWiki, I think a partner box would be more appropriate than a link from the infobox. Without any analytics it's hard to tell how often the infobox links are used, but I would assume most readers would ignore them if they don't know the websites already. Edit: Then again, there's the question if this would clutter the page more than necessary. As pointed out by Marioysikax, there's a lot of free space in the infobox. Increasing the icon size would (probably) not break it.
  18. Haven't personally seen this in the wild, ex: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Super_Street_Fighter_IV:_Arcade_Edition#Video_settings, http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Battlefield:_Bad_Company_2#Video_settings. I would reserve the 'hackable' tag for things where you would have to edit a config file, registry key or use an external program.
  19. Took about 6 months for them to change their mind. foreseeable future < 6 months
  20. For reference (extracted from https://ubistatic2-a.akamaihd.net/emea/gamesites/uplayshop/tagcommander/js/tc_UplayShopGlobal_1.js): en-GB: ubiemea fr-FR: ubiemea de-DE: ubiemea es-ES: ubiemea nl-NL: ubiemea it-IT: ubiemea da-DK: ubiemea sv-SE: ubiemea no-NO: ubiemea fi-FI: ubiemea pl-PL: ubiemea ru-RU: ubiemea de-AT: ubiemea en-AU: ubiemea en-IE: ubiemea en-US: ubina en-CA: ubina fr-CA: ubina pt-BR: ubibr
  21. It should be possible to narrow it down to 3 unique links, 1 for each region: ubiemea - EMEA countries ubina - USA & Canada ubibr - Brazil http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubiemea/pd/productID.318152400 http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubina/pd/productID.292513600 http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubibr/pd/productID.292513600 You can visit the other regions by disabling javascript. ubibr and ubina appears to use the same productID so it might be possible to determine where the user should be sent to.
