    Mod to increase FOV and remove (or reduce) head bobbing in Ice-Pick Lodge's The Void. I've confirmed that the mod also works with the GOG version. http://steamcommunity.com/app/37000/discussions/0/133255603283043191/#c133261124638710346 1. Choose your selected setting from the following: wide wide, noHbobbing wide, weakHbobbing xTRAwide xTRAwide, noHbobbing xTRAwide, weakHbobbing 2. Extract "player.bin" to "\data\Scripts" in the game folder. .
  5. I'm aware of this, I added a note to keypoints about added achievements. The changelog does however cover five years of updates. I wondered which one I should use, I agree with you now. Thank you for the help.
  6. The developers often don't post changelog to "news" on Steam and update notes can be difficult to find - in this instance, Frictional Games shared patchlogs on their forums for all of their games preceding Soma. I've started adding game changelogs under "general information", for instance: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Amnesia:_The_Dark_Descent Do you agree?
  7. There are no explicit rules, but all fixes should have a source. Yes, you should add a comment unless you're simply "verifying" information added by others. Game manual is a great source.
  8. There's "checked by user" template: You have to replace the following information with your own: {{Refcheck|user=User|date=2012-12-21|comment=Comment (optional)}}
  9. Well, at least the keypoint starts with "Reports indicate". When reliable sources are provided, perhaps this keypoint can be used.
  10. I assume everyone agrees that "poor PC port" keypoint shouldn't be used either - I'm removing these types as well. https://pcgamingwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Saints_Row_2&oldid=357721

    Requires a mod manager, use Sonic Lost World Mod Loader (tested with) or SonicGMI.
  12. Is deleting currently possible? I will no longer upload to the gallery if image galleries/images can't be removed (the only way I can think of is overwriting with a blank file by using the edit feature). There is redundant content in my profile, I've used the gallery as a general PCGW image sharing and hotlinking service.
  13. How can I use multiple images as a reference? I have a couple of times created a gallery, but I'm hesitant as the community pages aren't a part of Mediawiki. I don't know if it is possible to "link" several Wiki images ("pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/File:*") together in any way. Merging images together will cause issues especially when there are a lot of files, and looks rude. example: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/gallery/album/117-deadly-premonition-brightness-setting-comparison-pcps3/
  14. In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone with the mouse view can only be moved vertically and horizontally (doesn't apply to minigames where mouse cursor moves normally): Is there a term for this limitation? The information could be added under input settings in articles or perhaps even as a keypoint, when applicable.
  15. Please remove my like from the first message. I didn't initially fully read the post and I absolutely don't want that WSGF links get purged from game articles. There's no option to "unlike": Likes can potentially only be removed within a certain threshold:
  16. Can the file corruption issue be caused by IPB?
  17. I can't access "Discord rules" thread: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/topic/2033-discord-roles/ I'm not familiar with Discord, but I always thought that IRC is suitable for our needs, partially due to accessibility.

    Original "CoCMainWin32.exe" from retail disk. Extract and replace the executable in the Steam game folder. Unlocks all features for DCoTEPatch mod.
  19. This may be the direction we're heading: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/User:Mars_icecream/bad_article
  20. Controller rebinding options in games are usually absent, often something as simple as changing A to B would be super-helpful. I prefer a program that translates controller input on the fly, rebinding would work universally in all programs (?) without mandatory per-application configuration. Xinput Plus and Durazno appear to be able to rebind, but I didn't get either to work with a game I'm playing. I have found absolutely no solution so far and I've tried at least: X360ce (DirectInput -> Xinput) JoyToKey (controller -> keyboard) Xinput Plus (per-application configuration) Durazno (
  21. The same issue with Watch Dogs 2: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Watch_Dogs_2 Get the keypoint out please. Croteam games have ten times more graphics options.
  22. My edit is reverted in the Alan Wake article: https://pcgamingwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Alan_Wake&type=revision&diff=323294&oldid=323207 As I said on the talk page, [[serious Sam 3: BFE]] has no keypoints even though the game has hundreds of settings in the options menu, why should [[Alan Wake]]? Are decent PC options worth a positive keypoint? I didn't initially notice that my edit was undoed, I submitted again with an additional change.
