A code injected dll with custom field of view support for "Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II". There's also a cheat engine table in the attachment so you can change the game's FOV anytime while running. This dll should be placed in the installation directory where the "Sonic.exe" is located in in-order for that to take effect. The FOV multiplier in this modified directx9 dll for the game is located at 0x1B057A.

This exe mod allows user defined field of view options. To adjust the game's field of view, open up the exe in a hex editor, then go to 0xF808E9 and change 00 00 80 3F to a lower little endian float value like 00 00 40 3F. For use, place this in the installation directory where the original executable is located at.

Other systems have the blue crescent texture in place, but the PC version does not. This re-adds the blue crescent texture that was either forgotten to be added or was removed for the particle effect that is emitted when Espio's shuriken disappears on the PC version of the game. To apply it, place cmn_effect.txd in the textures folder in the "dvdroot" folder.

Somehow some of the voice clips for Amy and Cream are empty, but it's about time they come back with this replacement file. The voices from other game systems were ripped, re-enconded with CRI Middleware Tools and placed onto the file "SH_VOICE_EN.afs" in the PC version of the game. To get those voices back, replace the existing voice afs file with this one into dvdroot\bgm.

The FMV were ripped from the Xbox disc and renamed to the names usable by the PC version of Sonic Heroes. They're originally encoded this way to provide higher quality playback, but they were compressed for more space. Here are the steps to use Xbox quality FMVs instead of GameCube quality FMVs: Extract the files from this archive Copy them from the folder and replace the .sfd files with these ones in the directory "/dvdroot/movie".

This modification fixes improper alpha blending based on certain objects designed to use additive alpha such as the green arrows seen in Power Plant. To use, copy the executable into the main game directory and other items including the dff models, one archive edits and the texture dictionary fixes (which some of them without alpha caused the issue) into your dvdroot folder. There are optional graphic mods to enhance the visual effects made along with this mod. Copy the MasterEffect or SweetFX files into the directory where your executable is located. The last thing is the third warp effect used in haunted levels of the game can now be used anywhere in the game by setting the byte in offsets "1ADAA" and "1ADEA" to byte "04" as an optional effect load function based on an object used for teleporting somewhere else in the level.
