  1. This looks interesting.. OC Guru seems to crash NS2: http://steamcommunity.com/app/4920/disc ... 092074579/ You have your DmC thread here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/220440/di ... 124988878/ My initial thought is to list this on individual game pages where the issues occur under 'Issues fixed' header.
  2. I'll be saving some of the donated keys for future use over the next few weeks. This contest will be going live tonight in 9hrs or so, I'll be creating a new thread.
  3. Currently it's on mc.pcgamingwiki.com - I hope to publicise it once we're sure everything's working. I have never really played Minecraft before and I have no idea what I'm doing with it..
  4. We might be able to add a DRM category to the Availability Table icons. This would make categorisation automatic whenever you used the DRM-free icon. I am looking into overhauling the entire Availability Table first though - to also include OS categories at some point. This is a long-term project which will be looked at over on this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47 Any help or input on this is apprecaited.
  5. Seems to be shaping up nicely today with lots of edits on Humble Bundle games. I have made a start on the Binding of Isaac page which is a huge mess. I plan to go into more depth tomorrow. I can't believe it used to be a 'featured article' back when we first started.
  6. It's looking good so far! I'm gonna try to contribute a new page a day until we are done. Did some work on the Shatter page today: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Shatter Unfortunately I'm not a Linux/Mac gamer, but I'm sure that others will be able to edit any missing information from the articles.
  7. Note: officially this campaign will be launching very soon, keep your eyes and ears open. We are hosting a campaign with Humble Indie opinionator Cheese to complete listings for every single Humble Indie Bundle game that has been released. The full campaign information is listed on Cheese's website. Here's how to help: 1) Check Humble Indie Bundle for missing (red) pages, incomplete articles, and general improvement. 2) Refer to the Sample Article (PCGamingWiki:Sample_Article) for tips on how to layout the pages. 3) For questions, clarifications, progress reports, please reply here. 4) Check out Soeb's project progress indicator.
  8. Some initial work completed on the home page layout: http://prisonarchitectwiki.com/wiki/Home - will be adding info in from the Alpha very soon.
  9. Thanks for post this issue. I've been doing a lot of work on the DmC article (http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/DmC:_Devil_May_Cry) as well as lots of research around fixes. I haven't come across your issue anywhere else, but I'll keep looking.
  10. Thanks for the input guys - I've added a little note here: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Home/Notable_releases
  11. Turns out that it was something to do with nginx we are running. File hosting works now, but we need to figure out some policies. For now the limits are 1gb for moderators, 100mb for registered users. If a file extension is not supported, email me and I'll add it in.
  12. Teleglitch recently scored 9/10 on Eurogamer: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013- ... tch-review Destructoid 8.0: http://www.destructoid.com/review-teleg ... 9995.phtml I think Destructoid described it the best: Presentation is low-fi and frankly awful. But gameplay is visceral and addictive. PCGW article: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Teleglitch Check out TB's WTF:
  13. Thanks Matt, I think we sorted it out :). Edit: actually I adjusted to php.ini but I think we may need to restart? I'll leave this to JRWR..
  14. Huge thanks for this LDK - this should be enough for us to get the print done on the t-shirts thank you :).
  15. hungry_eyes did some fantastic work creating the new logo for our site. However in an accident, the original PSD with multiple layers and transparent background was lost and we are left with only the large PNG of the new logo. I wanted to integrate the new logo into the new t-shirt design, so I copy and pasted the new logo into the design. However because the graphic was not transparent, it seems to have left slight white jagglies. I would like to print some t-shirts in a light-grey (as well as in white), so I'm worried about how this might look when printed. Could anyone take a look at it please?
  16. 1) I'm trying to upload a 60mb file. It's giving me the error: I believe that administrators and moderators can upload past the attachment limit? 2) I'd like set permissions on upload limits like this: Administrator/moderator: 1gb Normal user: 50mb
  17. Thanks so much, please email it to me (andytizer@gmail.com) when you get the chance.
  18. Okay I've just seen GOG.com's giveaway contest and now I'm exploring 3rd party option Rafflecopter.
  19. Made a few adjustments, hopefully this will be the final draft until launch day 10th February.
  20. And thanks for the support :) spread the word.
  21. If an issue is fixed by an official patch that works, then I think it's safe to say that it 'overwrites' any other hacks or fixes for those issues. We can take out issues fixed by patches basically. It might be worth mentioning infamous issues in 'Key points' that have been fixed so people are aware. For example, Far Cry 3 was unplayable for many people, but this has been fixed by subsequent patches so we should remove those issues.
  22. You can add to rules, that contestants have to enter official PCGW Steam Group. That way you could send messages directly via member list. What about disqualify contestants with empty Steam accounts? Contestants have to set their Steam account to public on 11th February so you can verify that this is legit person. Thanks this is exactly the kind of feedback I needed :). I'll require people to join our Steam group. People can verify their account is older than 11th February by either making their account public or friending me on Steam so I can see their profile.
  23. Reminder to myself to borrow this wiki's styling for keys, probably to make a template: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Fglrx#Speed
