    The tool removes black bars from the in-game cutscenes, cinematic cameras, shops and a number of other areas at 21:9 and wider resolutions. Since version 2.0 it also removes pillarboxing from the photo mode. Since version 3.0, it allows for custom FOV adjustment. Launch the game first, then the tool. The password for the archive is pcgw As expected from a trainer based on CE components, this tool does get falsely flagged by some anti-virus software as a trojan, while the rest correctly mark it as a "hacktool". Use the tool provided here at own risk and ideally avoid playing RDR Online without completely disabling the fix - especially the FOV hack. Tested at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.     The tools allow for support of any display aspect ratio and real-time FOV adjustment in Death Stranding. The gameplay and engine-rendered cutscenes will properly fill the screen, while the state of the pre-rendered cutscenes will depend on the used solution. Option 1: A trainer automatically detecting any resolution and allowing to make the zoomed pre-rendered cutscenes 16:9. Left alignment of the pre-rendered cutscenes is a known issue. The tool also allows to adjust FOV at any aspect ratio. I may have been the first to discover the common sense aspect ratio change solution (as seen on the WSGF Discord), but I am certainly not the one who published the bytes first (looks like it was FasterThanFTL). The tool is a trainer based on CE components that may trigger some anti-virus software. Making it into a patcher is not possible for Xbox and would be inconvenient to Steam users, as it would likely require replacing files before each launch in the anti-cheat-enabled mode.     The trainers for Xbox/Microsoft and Epic game versions, and patchers for EGS and future versions remove pillarboxing (black bars) from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens and offer the option to adjust FOV. Use software like PeaZip or 7zip to unpack the archives. The password is pcgw Making changes to Engine.ini to increase FOV through Y-axis calculation is no longer recommended, as it gets reset by finishers and possibly other in-game events. Make sure the config is in its default state to avoid unexpected issues. The mod does not address the cropping of the viewmodel and stretching of FMVs. In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX=, ResolutionSizeY=, DesiredScreenWidth=, DesiredScreenHeight= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080.     The patchers and trainer remove pillarboxing from the game, resulting in more horizontal FOV. Some of the in-game images and cutscenes do not appear to be wide enough to fully fill the screen, but the main cutscenes, menu and gameplay become free of black bars. Use one of the patchers to modify \ChildrenOfMorta_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll within the game folder. For the Game Pass version, use the included trainer at 21:9 - the password for the 7zip archive is pcgw. Tested briefly at 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 in the latest GOG and Game Pass versions.     The two-part solution allows to remove the black bars from the gameplay at 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions. Download and unpack the archive corresponding to your aspect ratio Run the patcher and target the file as instructed. Copy all the contents of the included folder to the main game folder (\Blasphemous\) Expect some minor visual glitches. Make sure to store and share your save files right away if you run into anything game-breaking. Keep in mind that instances of softlocks have been reported before the mod existed, but I am open to investigating any major issues as long as I have your save files. Keep in mind that some of the textures simply do not have enough width to fill the screen, and the menu UI will become cropped the wider it gets from 21:9, although the game appears to be playable even at 48:9.     A total overhaul of the old Flawless Widescreen script for GTA V that has been dysfunctional for many months if not longer. As before, it allows for fine-tuning of FOV per each view - first person, in-vehicle, ADS, and third person. It also allows to remove the pillarboxing at cutscenes at 21:9 and wider, although having the latter enabled may cause some confirmation prompts to disappear at 32:9 and wider until disabled. Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). Launch Flawless Widescreen, select Grand Theft Auto V (updated) and set everything to preference. Tested the latest game version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080.     This is a hack by Jackfuste which allows for widescreen resolutions to display properly instead of being stretched, additionally UI elements are unstretched and sit in the corners, and other 2D elements are centered, however loading screen graphics are stretched. This fix was downloaded from this forum: https://www.wsgf.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=32562 All credit goes to Jackfuste, I am merely uploading a mirror. This was tested on a cracked retail version of the game, it is unknown if it will also work on a Windows XP system using StarForce protection.

    These patches are made using the addresses posted by Reddit user OnkelJupp to remove ultra-widescreen pillarboxing from Horizon Zero Dawn without the need for manual hex editing. Unpack the archive using the password pcgw Open the desired patcher and navigate to the game folder where HorizonZeroDawn.exe is located and click Start Launch the game and set the aspect ratio in the settings to Auto Included resolutions are 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1600, 5120x2160, 6880x2880 and a combined patcher for 32:9 aspect ratio resolutions 3840x1080 and 5120x1440. If a desired resolution isn't included with the patches, test use this calculator by first entering one of the included resolutions and then entering the desired resolution. If an exact match is achieved (such as 2560x1080 matching with 3840x1620), you will be able to use the patch compared against without issue. Tested on the Steam version of the game on versions 1.00 and 1.01, however there should be no issue with using these patches on the Epic Games Store version.

    This mod is based on the code used in 21xMachi9 (https://github.com/KingKrouch/21xMachi9), but only modifies the Vert- FOV in Destroy All Humans. It also supports custom FOVs by modifying the config.ini file. I have plans on releasing an open sourced version once the game releases, but I figured that I'd release a seperate version of this fix soley for the demo version, as it likely won't need to be updated as often. This fix requires the GOG version of the demo to use, and isn't compatible with the Steam demo. Installation: Extract the contents of "DestroyAllVertMinus_Release_Win64.zip" into the "Destroy All Humans Demo\DH\Binaries\Win64" directory where the game is installed. NOTE: This fix requires Visual C++ Redist 2015-2019 to be installed to function properly, as this release build uses the most recent Windows SDK versions as of Visual Studio 2019. It provides a wide variety of options to customize the UI, controls, visuals, notifications, sounds and more. Install The mod does not make any permanent changes to the game or to Windows and can easily be removed. Extract the files of the archive to the release sub-folder of the game. See the section for details Uninstall Remove all files starting with PreyInterfaceCustomizer as well as the dinput8.dll from the release sub-folder of the game Presets The mod comes with three standard configuration presets: Default: All UI elements, notifications and sounds are enabled. This should be equivalent to the unmodded version of the game Reduced: Removes UI elements, notifications and sounds that are unnecessary or are already conveyed in other ways. Additional elements, such as objective markers are only visible in the Dynamic UI. This preset is designed in such a way that it should be usable by an observant player on the first playthrough Immersive: Removes all UI elements, notifications and sounds that are not absolutely essential to playing the game. This preset expects a certain knowledge of the game by the player and is probably not suitable for a first playthrough Note that these settings are just templates and can be adjusted as desired. Known Issues The option is currently broken and not working as intended. Additional Information Antivirus Software Since this mod consists of an executable DLL file that uses such as injection and hooking, it could be classified as malicious by antivirus software. In that case, it might be necessary to add an exception rule to the scanner. If you lack the trust in random people on the internet – and I would not blame you – feel free to use a meta online virus scanner like VirusTotal to verify the file. GUI Requirements The GUI requires both the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2019 and .NET Framework 4.7.1 packages to work; which should already be installed on most systems. If you are having problems starting the program, you can download the required versions either through a recommended Windows update (Windows 7 and later) or at Microsoft here and here. Loading Other Fixes/Mods/Injectors To increase the compatibility with other mods or injectors that are using a wrapper DLL, this fix offers two methods for remote loading of additional files. Note that there might still be compatibility issues between the different fixes, mods or injectors that have nothing to do with the loading process. File method: The mod will load another dinput8.dll automatically if it has the name dinput8_Remote.dll. Just rename the DLL you want to load accordingly. Using this method will lead to an error if the renamed DLL is not itself a dinput8.dll. Folder method: The mod will also automatically load all DLLs regardless of their names in a dinput8_Remote sub-directory. Just create a corresponding folder in the install directory of the mod. This is the only way to load multiple (conflicting) files. Input Bindings The GUI allows the binding of an action to an arbitrary combination of keys and buttons on the keyboard, the mouse or an XInput compatible controller. The system purposefully does not restrict conflicts, so multiple actions can be bound to the same key. Key Names: In case of the keyboard there might be a discrepancy between the key that was pressed and the one that is displayed. This is because the names are automatically translated based on the keyboard layout by using a Windows function. However, the mod always uses the physical keys as they were used during the creation of the binding, independent of the name that is displayed. Modifiers: Modifier bindings can be created by just using the corresponding key combinations. If you bind one action to Space and another another to LCTRL + Space and a third one to LALT + LCTRL + Space, only one of them will be triggered when Space is down, depending on the state of LCTRL and LALT. The system is not restricted to the usual modifier keys ALT, CTRL or SHIFT. Any key or button pressed before another acts as a modifier for the next one. Note that the order of the keys or buttons is only relevant during the binding process to distinguish bindings with the same modifiers. In the above example, Space could be held down and the other actions triggered by pressing LCTRL or LALT afterwards.     Option 1 (patchers): Unpack the patcher archive and use the applicable tool to patch the exe in \MoonMan\Binaries\Win64\ within the main folder. This will adjust FOV to match the vertical of 16:9. The tool also aims to remove all pillarboxing except from pre-rendered cutscenes but this may come at the cost of reduced FOV in the starting cutscene. Some further cutscenes are confirmed as having more horizontal FOV but there is no way to guarantee every cutscene will display correctly without playing through the game.     About An ASI Loader plugin which allows Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated to run on Ultrawide displays, and with even higher framerates. Setup Extract the "BFBBUW.7z" file using 7-Zip, WinRAR, or anything else that can extract these archives, and use the password "pcgw" to extract. Copy the plugins folder and dsound.dll (ASI Loader) into the "\Pineapple\Binaries\Win64" directory of where the game is installed. Make sure that the in-game resolution is set to your chosen resolution. If you are using a non-16:9 or 21:9 resolution, you will need to edit the GameUserSettings.ini (in the "Pineapple" localappdata directory) using a text editor and then relaunch the game.     The patcher replaces some of the existing game resolutions with common ultrawide resolutions, allowing for extra horizontal FOV. (VERY IMPORTANT) Follow the first steps of this guide to unpack the game exe. I am not allowed to provide the instructions here. Download and unpack the archive included here, then launch the patcher Target and patch DQB2_EU.exe (English/Europe) or DQB2_AS.exe/DQB2.exe (Asia) .     Unpack the archive and put the modified file in \Never_Alone_Data\Managed\ within the main game folder, replacing the original. This should remove the pillarboxing (black bars) from every place. Keep in mind that it also leads to the in-game videos getting vert- (cropped). All of them can be skipped and watched again from the menu at any time, so simply setting the game resolution to 1920x1080 to do so is an option. Tested with the latest Steam version at 2560x1080. It is easy to install and comes with a GUI for convenient configuration. Its features include: Properly adjusting the FPS limit to above 60 (e.g. to 144) Fixing texture bugs on modern hardware by forcing high image quality Adjusting the despawn time of corpses Changing the field of view Skipping of the intro videos Forcing the game to use a custom resolution Instructions Supported Versions This mod is designed for the latest, fully patched versions of Quake 4 and might not work when used with older or otherwise modified executables. Steam v1.4.2 Install The mod does not make any permanent changes to the game or to Windows and can easily be removed. Extract the zip-file to your main game folder. Uninstall Rename or remove the dinput.dll from the folder of the game. Known Issues There are currently no known issues with the mod. Additional Information Antivirus Software Since this mod consists of an executable DLL file that uses "hacking techniques" such as injection and hooking, it could be classified as malicious by antivirus software. In that case, it might be necessary to add an exception rule to the scanner. If you lack the trust in random people on the internet -- and I would not blame you -- feel free to use a meta online virus scanner like VirusTotal to verify the file. GUI Requirements The GUI requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.1 to work; which should already be installed on most systems. If you are having problems starting the program, you can download the required version either through a recommended Windows update (Windows 7 and later) or at Microsoft here. Loading Other Fixes/Mods/Injectors To increase the compatibility with other mods or injectors that are using a wrapper DLL, this fix offers two methods for remote loading of additional files. Note that there might still be compatibility issues between the different fixes, mods or injectors that have nothing to do with the loading process. File method: The mod will load another dinput.dll automatically if it has the name dinput_Remote.dll. Just rename the DLL you want to load accordingly. Using this method will lead to an error if the renamed DLL is not itself a dinput.dll. Folder method: The mod will also automatically load all DLLs regardless of their names in a dinput_Remote sub-directory. Just create a corresponding folder in the install directory of the mod. This is the only way to load multiple (conflicting) files. Input Bindings The GUI allows the binding of an action to an arbitrary combination of keys and buttons on the keyboard, the mouse or an XInput compatible controller. The system purposefully does not restrict conflicts, so multiple actions can be bound to the same key. Key Names: In case of the keyboard there might be a discrepancy between the key that was pressed and the one that is displayed. This is because the names are automatically translated based on the keyboard layout by using a Windows function. However, the mod always uses the physical keys as they were used during the creation of the binding, independent of the name that is displayed. Modifiers: Modifier bindings can be created by just using the corresponding key combinations. If you bind one action to Space and another another to LCTRL + Space and a third one to LALT + LCTRL + Space, only one of them will be triggered when Space is down, depending on the state of LCTRL and LALT. The system is not restricted to the usual modifier keys ALT, CTRL or SHIFT. Any key or button pressed before another acts as a modifier for the next one. Note that the order of the keys or buttons is only relevant during the binding process to distinguish bindings with the same modifiers. In the above example, Space could be held down and the other actions triggered by pressing LCTRL or LALT afterwards.
