  1. Had the same problem as well. It's really unfortunate. Until some workaround is created, I'll have to play the game windowed in 1280x1024 for that extra viewing distance.

  3. Crashing here too, even after enabling post the 'Press any button' screen. Not during loading, not during start up, just randomly while playing the mission 😟

  4. Can confirm the crashes, seems quite random during gameplay. I've been enabling the tool when at camp. Really helpful tool shame the new update causes issues. 🤔

  5. Warning! There is a virus in this file called "Contebrew.A!ml"

  6. That would suggest the issue stems from modifications made to the file by you though, not the trainer. It makes no changes to the game files and restores the original code in the memory when you press F8 again. For some display modes or other variables, it may also require pressing alt+enter twice to have the game read from its original code again.

  7. Look up reverse engineering software on YouTube to get started 😁 Contrary to the popular belief, it usually takes many hours of disassembling, and few games are properly fixed by searching for the well-known aspect ratio or Unreal Engine 4 FOV-related bytes. If they are, the solutions are usually available on day one because every advanced ultrawide user knows them by now. From the developer standpoint, it's easier than it is from mine because they already have all their functions defined and documented as classes and such, while to me every game is a black box with many lines of pure ass

  8. Minor bug found but solution also found: The game likes to crash when in game but setting the .exe to XP Service pack 2 fixes that.

  10. Welcome to my own personal Hell, I've been picking at this particular issue for QUITE some time now. The only PARTIAL solution is really not that much of a solution at all. To use the plugin on FiveM, you need the entire namesake of the server you're joining, as FiveM sets the process window name to that full title. The problem becomes that server names are very long and/or use emoji or other odd characters. So to get the full string, you need to (open Task Manager while connected to the server you want to play) -> (Expand FiveM process and right click the subprocess with the ful

  14. The download link works now. Have you thought about uploading this mod to GameBanana, too? You might get more downloads that way.

  15. I meant the download link is what's not working... I had to download the files from another link I googled.

  18. don't care about anti virus, just allow it to restore and accept the tool. there is no problem, it's a false positive !

  19. Nevermind. Windows Security was blocking it. I thought it wasn't the problem because it usually quarantines suspicious files. Thank you Rose!

  23. Wow, this game is a total showcase of what the community can do. It looks outstanding in super ultrawide. I have donated to both authors. Thanks so much! FYI, I will donate generously for a good Nioh 2 Super Ultrawide/triple monitor fix. My most anticipated game of this year. My favorite genre, hard core japanese melee action. Jackfuste's fix for the original was a serious labor of love. He kept improving it and improving it until it was nearly flawless. Centering of UI was essential for such a fast paced game. Miss that guy... hope he's ok and just moved on to oth

  28. squidnipples - I had the same issue. Open the Silent_Hill_4_PC_Fix.ini with notepad or some sort of text editor (I use notepad++) and find the line that says # Increase the resolution of background screens IncreaseBackgroundResolution = 1 and change the 1 to a 0, hit save (make sure it saves as an ini not as txt or something.) and try that. It fixed the weird zoom for me in both the game and the pause menu.

  30. The method with the executable doesn' work with the current version on Steam. Instead, doing the manual method works perfectly with a resolution of 3840x1080 (32: 9) in my case. Thank you very much Rose!

  32. The old trainer had to be run each time like every other trainer, while the patchers did not. Some of the reasons for the patchers' removal are in the update notes.

  38. Please remove the executable file without Steam Stub. It is against PCGW policy right now to provide such a copy, as well as instructions on how to bypass it. See the information from the below section of the wiki policy: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/PCGamingWiki:Editing_guide/Wiki_policy#Bypassing_copyright_protection_and_fixes

  44. Why is your font so horribly small. Look at Rose's profile, she's legit and has released a ton of FOV and ultrawide fixes for games. They usually come up as false positives, because like it says below the instructions, "All trainers based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software".

  46. for me, it doesn't work, now my Windows 10 even says that there is a virus or unwanted file in the dllinjector.exe. Without these files, SH3 load fine, so the problem is not with the game or my system
    1 point
  47. the fix doesn't work for me, I copied all 4 files in the game's directory, launched dllinjector.exe and both processes (dllinjector and sh3) are running in the background (task manager) but nothing happens, the game doesn't load. Without all these widescreen fixes, the game loads fine and i can change the resolution without issues in the options.

  49. You sure this doesnt contain virus? My virus blocking program refuses to let me launch the mod because it says it has virus in it.
