  1. Had the same problem as well. It's really unfortunate. Until some workaround is created, I'll have to play the game windowed in 1280x1024 for that extra viewing distance.

  2. Hi, modern day anti-malware suites work more and more on machine learning, which means it uses a dumb algorithm to determine whether a file is malicious or not based on how much similarity it has to actual malware. As far as I can tell this is what the "!ml" at the end means -- it's a match based on a machine learned algorithm that was trained on malicious and non-malicious files (but apparently without any modding related files in the data set it was trained on...). As a result, and as mentioned in the file description, basically any file that uses CheatEngine components to manipulate th

  5. Can confirm the crashes, seems quite random during gameplay. I've been enabling the tool when at camp. Really helpful tool shame the new update causes issues. 🤔

  8. That would suggest the issue stems from modifications made to the file by you though, not the trainer. It makes no changes to the game files and restores the original code in the memory when you press F8 again. For some display modes or other variables, it may also require pressing alt+enter twice to have the game read from its original code again.

  9. Look up reverse engineering software on YouTube to get started 😁 Contrary to the popular belief, it usually takes many hours of disassembling, and few games are properly fixed by searching for the well-known aspect ratio or Unreal Engine 4 FOV-related bytes. If they are, the solutions are usually available on day one because every advanced ultrawide user knows them by now. From the developer standpoint, it's easier than it is from mine because they already have all their functions defined and documented as classes and such, while to me every game is a black box with many lines of pure ass

    Creative ALchemy

@camm I made a generic patcher for Alchemy a while back, only posted it on one forum though so it was probably pretty easy to miss... Reposted here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/387vesqfe7o91f4/GenericALchemyDerestrictor-1.0.zip/file Only tested with the 1.45.20 version, but it uses signature searching rather than offsets so should work with other versions too. (hopefully this is fine to post here, seeing as the Glossary:Sound_card page links to similar patches too)

  12. Just tried it this morning with the new update and (luckily) it worked first time. Not sure if it's easier to do again or if it'll just be these rare occasions again.

  13. This was the original guide posted to the Discord back at the beginning of November. I've included the array of byte in the title of the video, but copying it directly from the original post: 00 00 48 43 00 00 48 42 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 You'll need to ensure you have the "browse region" window at around the same width as well so that the "2nd row" is actually the proper 2nd row and the window size isn't screwing with it. I can attest that I DID get this method to work last week one time, but even trying it several times this morning I have trouble with it. Even when it was or

  14. You've got to do the last step. Open menu in game and switch from fullscreen to borderless windowed or vice versa. My steam copy is also zoomed in until I do that last step. Well assuming you're using the trainer, I can't speak for the patchers.

  20. It's very common for game patches to trigger Windows antivirus. I'd recommend allowing it in Defender. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/0d994964e3cbfe117eb0cfcf0d765d24b13ad2f72229005ae5f72533d2bfaad2/detection

  21. I had to make an account just to compliment you. This file was uploaded minutes after the game came out. Like I get that this was probably a copy-paste deal of a fix from a different game. But you still managed to test it and take screenshots. It's amazing. Keep up the good work!

  29. Welcome to my own personal Hell, I've been picking at this particular issue for QUITE some time now. The only PARTIAL solution is really not that much of a solution at all. To use the plugin on FiveM, you need the entire namesake of the server you're joining, as FiveM sets the process window name to that full title. The problem becomes that server names are very long and/or use emoji or other odd characters. So to get the full string, you need to (open Task Manager while connected to the server you want to play) -> (Expand FiveM process and right click the subprocess with the ful

  33. Even changing a single byte in the game memory will now cause it to crash at those loading stages. Typically it's a sign of protection, though I'm not seeing any common forms of DRM or anti-cheat solutions yet. Using the UE console unlocker will also cause a crash under the circumstances. I guess the only workaround for now is to know when to disable the fix in advance but I understand that it's extremely impractical and likely frustrating. I'll keep looking into this, though it helps to know the issue is global and not unique to my code, giving a bit of hope for a rollback update if t

  36. probably your AV detected it as a false trojan and deleted the file and now Windows doesn't find it. Before starting dllinjector.exe, add the .exe file to you AV exclusion list/trusted application list.

  38. It was not a question of trust (I have downloaded dozens of your patches without any problem), but I was surprised that it was the first to detect me as a Trojan. Thank you very much for the information anyway. I've tested and works perfectly!

  43. Wow, this game is a total showcase of what the community can do. It looks outstanding in super ultrawide. I have donated to both authors. Thanks so much! FYI, I will donate generously for a good Nioh 2 Super Ultrawide/triple monitor fix. My most anticipated game of this year. My favorite genre, hard core japanese melee action. Jackfuste's fix for the original was a serious labor of love. He kept improving it and improving it until it was nearly flawless. Centering of UI was essential for such a fast paced game. Miss that guy... hope he's ok and just moved on to oth

  44. Hi. This is covered by my description of softlocks at 32:9. As such, the trainer is not to be used at 32:9 at all unless you want to play 21:9 windowed or constantly toggle on and off. I know it can be disappointing and it is to me as well, as I always try to cover the most common wide aspect ratios or ideally even have the tools adapt to any screen size, as it was with this one and evidenced by the 24:10 report. Sadly, some elements just get cropped out or become inaccessible past a certain point and there is currently no workaround apart from modifying the 3B 8E E3 3F bytes as seen in the po

  48. That's one of the 69 AV engines, and it's obviously wrong. You're free to test it in a sandbox. It's a hack so its behavior naturally triggers some AV. You can also go for Option 1.
