    Version 3.4

    17,428 downloads

The tool removes black bars from the in-game cutscenes, cinematic cameras, shops and a number of other areas at 21:9 and wider resolutions. Since version 2.0 it also removes pillarboxing from the photo mode. Since version 3.0, it allows for custom FOV adjustment. Launch the game first, then the tool. The password for the archive is pcgw As expected from a trainer based on CE components, this tool does get falsely flagged by some anti-virus software as a trojan, while the rest correctly mark it as a "hacktool". Use the tool provided here at own risk and ideally avoid playing RDR Online without completely disabling the fix - especially the FOV hack. Tested at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Additionally confirmed as working by two volunteers from WSGF. You can buy me a coffee here.

The tool removes black bars from the game at 21:9, 32:9, 48:9 and other wide resolutions. Download and unpack the archive using software like 7zip or PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the "Enable" key While in the game, briefly switch to the Borderless or Fullscreen mode. Use the tool to manually adjust the UI size at 32:9 and wider resolutions. Known issues: Stretched loading screens and rare FMVs. Minor UI display and alignment issues. Use the UI adjustment keys if necessary. The window mode switching requirement is also undesirable, hence the version number! Tested the latest Epic version at 2560x1080, briefly at 3840x1080, 5760x1080, 5120x2160 and 7680x1080 on a single monitor. You can buy me a coffee here.

Flawless Widescreen plugin for fixing wrong aspect ratio in 32:9 and Surround/Eyefinity resolutions. - Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\" and unpack the content of this archive. (If it asks about overwriting some folders, accept - it will add new files and not overwrite any existing ones.) - Start FWS and select the plugin (under Helifax section). - Enable the plugin. - Play the game. Known Issues: The MAIN MENU will be stretched (incorrect Aspect Ratio) but in-game & cinematics everything will be using correct Aspect Ratio! I can only test it in 32:9 and it works perfect! I can't test Surround/Eyfinity resolutions but it should work fine, I expect! Cheers, Helifax

Unpack the archive with software like 7zip, then patch the main game exe with the tool. This will remove the letterboxing (black bars) from the game, resulting in more vertical FOV than ever before. There will be some vertical stretching of the menu and subtitles. If you have the game on Steam, you will first need to adapt and follow the first steps of my DQB2 guide in order to apply the patcher. Such are the rules! Support with a donation.

The tools for Steam and Microsoft versions of Halo: Reach and Halo 2: Anniversary remove black bars at cutscenes in real time for ultrawide, superwide and triple monitor resolutions. The password for the archives is pcgw Play the game in the Anti-Cheat Disabled mode for this to work. Launch the game first, then the tool. The tool is a trainer based on CE components that may trigger some anti-virus software. TL;DR This mod fixes various mouse and keyboard related input issues in NieR: Automata. Its features include raw mouse input for camera and aim movement, an entirely new crosshair aiming mode, non-standard bindings for dash/evade, pod auto-fire and more. Quick start guide: Extract the file xinput1_3.dll and NAIOM-GUI.exe to your main game folder. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata" Start NAIOM-GUI.exe and set the bindings and other settings as desired Start the game like you would normally, for example directly through Steam Features The NieR: Automata Input Overhaul Mod (NAIOM) aims to solve all keyboard and mouse related issues in the game. As many other rough PC ports, NieR was primarily designed with a controller in mind and internally maps keyboard and mouse input to gamepad controls. This leads to various issue, including negative and positive mouse acceleration, as well as weird controls in certain perspectives, e.g. when aiming in side-scrolling mode. Its features include: Raw mouse input without any acceleration or smoothing Precise sensitivity configuration (calibrated for KovaaK's SensitivityMatcher) Fixed camera movement in third-person perspective New (optional) crosshair aiming mode for side-scrolling and top-down perspective New (optional) mouse cursors for menu and hacking (made by DevianArt user JulioDRai) Completely rebindable standard actions to any key or button combination including additional mouse buttons Non-standard keybindings, such as a dedicated dash/evade and pod fire toggle Full compatibility with FAR mod Instructions Supported Versions This mod is designed for the official version of NieR: Automata on Steam and might not work when used with otherwise modified executables. Install The mod does not make any permanent changes to the game or to Windows and can easily be removed. Extract the file xinput1_3.dll and NAIOM-GUI.exe to your main game folder. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata" Start NAIOM-GUI.exe and set the bindings and other settings as desired Start the game like you would normally, for example directly through Steam Note that even though the GUI is for configuration only and does not have to be running for the mod to work, it can be used together with the 'Reload Config' binding to adjust options of the fly. Update Perform a regular installation and just overwrite any existing files Note that an update retains all configured options unless they have actually been changed or removed in the new version. Uninstall Rename or remove the xinput1_3.dll from the folder of the game. Known Issues In the third-person view the camera might sometimes judder when it is near obstacles, such as walls. This has only partially to do with the mod, since the issue also occurs without it, but might just be more noticeable with it enabled Using the bindings of the mod does currently not change the ingame button prompts When using the new aiming mode the crosshair does currently also activate in situations where the aiming direction is fixed, e.g. in the side-scrolling flying mode The non-standard item switch bindings currently do not work as described in the tooltip when certain items are equipped The mod is currently not entirely compatible with the GeForce Experience overlay, which may not be controllable with the mouse in certain situations. However, the actual functionality can still be accessed by using the corresponding hotkeys The crosshair does currently not work in the hacking minigame and the standard mouse cursor will be shown instead Additional Information Antivirus Software Since this mod consists of an executable DLL file that uses "hacking techniques" such as injection and hooking, it could be classified as malicious by antivirus software. In that case, it might be necessary to add an exception rule to the scanner. If you lack the trust in random people on the internet -- and I would not blame you -- feel free to use a meta online virus scanner like VirusTotal to verify the file. GUI Requirements The GUI requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.1 to work; which should already be installed on most systems. If you are having problems starting the program, you can download the required version either through a recommended Windows update (Windows 7 and later) or at Microsoft here. Loading Other Fixes/Mods/Injectors To increase the compatibility with other mods or injectors that are using a wrapper DLL, this fix offers two methods for remote loading of additional files. Note that there might still be compatibility issues between the different fixes, mods or injectors that have nothing to do with the loading process. File method: The mod will load another xinput1_3.dll automatically if it has the name xinput1_3_Remote.dll. Just rename the DLL you want to load accordingly. Using this method will lead to an error if the renamed DLL is not itself a xinput1_3.dll. Folder method: The mod will also automatically load all DLLs regardless of their names in a xinput1_3_Remote sub-directory. Just create a corresponding folder in the install directory of the mod. This is the only way to load multiple (conflicting) files. Input Bindings The GUI allows the binding of an action to an arbitrary combination of keys and buttons on the keyboard, the mouse or an XInput compatible controller. The system purposefully does not restrict conflicts, so multiple actions can be bound to the same key. Key Names: In case of the keyboard there might be a discrepancy between the key that was pressed and the one that is displayed. This is because the names are automatically translated based on the keyboard layout by using a Windows function. However, the mod always uses the physical keys as they were used during the creation of the binding, independent of the name that is displayed. Modifiers: Modifier bindings can be created by just using the corresponding key combinations. If you bind one action to Space and another another to LCTRL + Space and a third one to LALT + LCTRL + Space, only one of them will be triggered when Space is down, depending on the state of LCTRL and LALT. The system is not restricted to the usual modifier keys ALT, CTRL or SHIFT. Any key or button pressed before another acts as a modifier for the next one. Note that the order of the keys or buttons is only relevant during the binding process to distinguish bindings with the same modifiers. In the above example, Space could be held down and the other actions triggered by pressing LCTRL or LALT afterwards. Acknowledgments I would like to thank Kaibz for his continuous testing during the pre-release development of the mod. Without his detailed feedback and suggestions, creating the mod would have taken even longer than it already did. I also would like to thank DevianArt user JulioDRai for creating the awesome custom cursor package that is used by this mod. A total overhaul of the old Flawless Widescreen script for GTA V that has been dysfunctional for many months if not longer. As before, it allows for fine-tuning of FOV per each view - first person, in-vehicle, ADS, and third person. It also allows to remove the pillarboxing at cutscenes at 21:9 and wider, although having the latter enabled may cause some confirmation prompts to disappear at 32:9 and wider until disabled. Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). Launch Flawless Widescreen, select Grand Theft Auto V (updated) and set everything to preference. Tested the latest game version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080. The trainers for Xbox/Microsoft and Epic game versions, and patchers for EGS and future versions remove pillarboxing (black bars) from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens and offer the option to adjust FOV. Use software like PeaZip or 7zip to unpack the archives. The password is pcgw Making changes to Engine.ini to increase FOV through Y-axis calculation is no longer recommended, as it gets reset by finishers and possibly other in-game events. Make sure the config is in its default state to avoid unexpected issues. The mod does not address the cropping of the viewmodel and stretching of FMVs. In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX=, ResolutionSizeY=, DesiredScreenWidth=, DesiredScreenHeight= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080. Getting into the settings in the game will undo the changes, so make sure to have configured the game to preference prior to editing the config. You can buy me a coffee here.

The game limits FOV between 70° and 80°. This tool lets you set the FOV anywhere between 1° and 160°. To use the tool, make sure you've run the game at least once, then close it. Run the tool, and choose which player profile to update the FOV for. Then enter the desired FOV and press enter. I recommend either 100 or 110. If all goes well, press any key to close the tool, then launch the game. Enjoy. If you go into the settings, the FOV slider will be out of bounds. You can safely adjust any other setting without affecting the FOV. If you touch the FOV slider, you'll revert the FOV changed by the tool. To fix, close the game and re-run the tool.

What is this? This fix makes Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux use raw mouse input to solve the issue of different sensitivities for horizontal and vertical movement. It also changes the sensitivity range to more reasonable values. It is easy to install and use and does not require any external configuration. Overview Description Even though the mouse input in Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux is quite good, both games apply different sensitivities for vertical and horizontal movement. They also have sensitivity settings that are too high for some players who prefer slower movement. This fix removes these problems by acquiring raw mouse input and injecting it directly into the game's input function. Features Raw mouse input Same sensitivity in all directions More reasonable sensitivity range No additional smoothing or positive/negative mouse acceleration Configuration via the ingame settings as usual Simple installation and usage without any external configuration Instructions Supported Versions Important: This fix relies on the latest, fully patched executables of the supported versions. Older versions or ones that otherwise have been tempered with might not work. The fix supports the following versions of Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux: Steam/Retail GOG Install The fix does not make any permanent changes to the game or the system and can easily be removed (see below). Extract the file dinput8.dll to your main game folder*. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metro 2033 Redux\" Start the game like you would normally, for example directly through Steam or GOG Galaxy See Loading Other Fixes/Mods/Injectors* for information on how to use the fix with another fix, mod or injector that uses a DLL file with the same name. Uninstall Remove or rename the dinput8.dll from the folder of the game. How To Use After the installation the fix does not require any additional treatment. Just launch and configure the game as usual. Loading Other Fixes/Mods/Injectors To increase the compatibility with other fixes, mods or injectors that are also using a dinput8.dll, this fix offers a remote loading feature of additional DLLs. This can be done in two ways: File method: The fix DLL will automatically load a DLL that has the same name as itself with the postfix _Remote added to it. For example dinput8_Remote.dll. Just rename the DLL file you want to load accordingly. This is the simplest way if you only have a conflict with one additional DLL Folder method: The fix DLL will also automatically load all DLL files regardless of their name in a sub-directory that has the same name as itself with the postfix _Remote added to it. For example dinput8_Remote. Just create a folder with the corresponding name in the install directory of the fix. This is the only way to load multiple (conflicting) DLLs Note that there might still be compatibility issues between the different fixes, mods or injectors that have nothing to do with the loading process. Additional Information What You Should Know This fix is essentially a hack and relies on the layout of the specific executable. There may be crashes or unexpected issues. Feel free to provide feedback so that the problems can get fixed. Since the fix consists of an executable DLL-File, I could have put any harmful shenanigans in there. You just have to trust me that the file is clean. If you don't -- and why should you -- feel free to use a meta online virus scanner like VirusTotal to verify the file. Be aware however, that because the fix uses "hacking techniques" such as injection and hooking, it could trigger anti-virus software without being harmful. Known Issues There are currently no known issues with the fix. Acknowledgments I would like to thank Magmarock (Steam/gog), who requested this fix and supported the development. Contact And Support If you like this fix and want to support the development or show your appreciation, you can find more information on my website. This fixes the following issues with Gothic and Gothic II on Windows 8 and later: Window border visible in fullscreen mode Low frame rate in fullscreen mode Extract anywhere and run install.bat to apply these fixes. Any previous versions are automatically replaced if present. This works by applying the following compatibility fixes to Gothic.exe, Gothic2.exe and GothicMod.exe: ForceSimpleWindow (hides window border) DXPrimaryEmulation -DisableMaxWindowedMode (fixes frame rate isssues) This fix does not remove Gothic's default frame rate cap; refer to its page for a separate fix for that issue. This fix will also work with Gothic Multiplayer (other mods that change the executable might not be affected).

This mod is based on the code used in 21xMachi9 (https://github.com/KingKrouch/21xMachi9), but only modifies the Vert- FOV in Destroy All Humans. It also supports custom FOVs by modifying the config.ini file. I have plans on releasing an open sourced version once the game releases, but I figured that I'd release a seperate version of this fix soley for the demo version, as it likely won't need to be updated as often. This fix requires the GOG version of the demo to use, and isn't compatible with the Steam demo. Installation: Extract the contents of "DestroyAllVertMinus_Release_Win64.zip" into the "Destroy All Humans Demo\DH\Binaries\Win64" directory where the game is installed. NOTE: This fix requires Visual C++ Redist 2015-2019 to be installed to function properly, as this release build uses the most recent Windows SDK versions as of Visual Studio 2019. Setup Extract the "BFBBUW.7z" file using 7-Zip, WinRAR, or anything else that can extract these archives, and use the password "pcgw" to extract. Copy the plugins folder and dsound.dll (ASI Loader) into the "\Pineapple\Binaries\Win64" directory of where the game is installed. Make sure that the in-game resolution is set to your chosen resolution. If you are using a non-16:9 or 21:9 resolution, you will need to edit the GameUserSettings.ini (in the "Pineapple" localappdata directory) using a text editor and then relaunch the game. I really was upset with the map being compressed while playing ultrawide 3 displays. The only way to get rid of this bug was to set the game windowed borderless. It's still not perfect as the map is spaned all across my 3 displays but better with actual behavior. But while doing this, the HUD (minimap, Texts, ammo) were left and right sided. Player can still modify the HUD location but it would still be bounded to 90% of the viewport. So i wrote this cheat table to overwrite the bounded locations. This script is not perfect. First, you have to set in your game settings the horizontal area in game to 90% and vertical one to 100%. Then, edit the script and modify the following code : Change the value after (float) to whatever you like between 0 and 0.95 (0 should give weird behaviors). While in game, activate the script and then go to settings as if you were to change your horizontal HUD position in game. You'll probably see non correct values but don't worry about that. Apply changes and go back in game. Your HUD should be centered correctly now.

What is this? This mod allows additional tweaking of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. This includes options to adjust the amount of head bobbing, forcing a dot reticle and disable the rendering of fog. Overview Description The New Colossus Tweaker (NCT) is a small mod that offers additional options for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The goal is to fix issues that prevent people from enjoying the game, as well as to provide quality of life improvements. The mod is still in its infancy with very limited functionality. It may be extended and improved based on user feedback in the future. Features Adjust the amount of head bobbing when moving or turning Force the game to always use the dot crosshair regardless of the current weapon Disable rendering of fog Instructions Supported Versions Important: This fix relies on the latest, fully patched executables of the supported versions. Older versions or ones that otherwise have been tempered with might not work. Steam (uncut version) Steam (German version) Install The mod does not make any permanent changes to the system, the game or the configuration of the game and can easily be removed (see below). Extract the file dinput8.dll to your main game folder. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wolfenstein.II.The.New.Colossus\". You should hear a tweaker loaded message on game launch when the mod was loaded. This sound can be turned off in the config The GUI requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable package; both of which should already be installed on most systems. If you are having problems starting the program, you can download the required versions here and here Uninstall Remove or rename the dinput8.dll from the folder of the game. This is the only way to load multiple (conflicting) DLLs Note that there might still be compatibility issues between the different fixes, mods or injectors that have nothing to do with the loading process. Configuration Although the configuration using the GUI should be easy and straight-forward, there are some things to note: The GUI provides tooltips with additional information about a setting You can change settings while in the game by using the Reload Config binding. Just change the settings in the GUI as necessary, press save and then use the binding to reload the config in-game. You should hear a tweaker reloaded sound message when the reloading was successful Additional Information What You Should Know Since the mod consists of an executable DLL-File, I could have put any harmful shenanigans in there. Warcraft Mouse Helper

    Version 1.2

    2,319 downloads

Warcraft Mouse Helper v1.2 for Warcraft: Orcs & Humans (1994) by Blizzard Entertainment This Windows utility allows for better mouse control in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans when played in DOSBox under Windows. It runs in the background while you're playing and maps the game's built-in keyboard commands to the right and middle mouse buttons and the mouse wheel. This allows you to give context sensitive orders with the mouse buttons (like in more modern RTSes) instead of using keyboard commands or mousing over to the command bar. It also allows for clicking and dragging to select multiple units without having to hold down the Ctrl key. Finally, it allows for scrolling the map with both the mouse wheel and the WASD keys, as well as other minor convenience features. Features: * Left click and drag to draw selection boxes around multiple units without having to hold down the Ctrl key. * Right click to order units to attack or harvest/transport goods (or move, in most cases). (Can also be used when the town center is selected to build walls and cancel structure placement) * Middle click to order units to repair or explicitly move (without attacking or harvesting). (Can also be used when the town center is selected to build roads) * Middle click and hold to auto-select units and structures as you mouse over them (for quickly checking health). * Move the mouse wheel up/down/left/right to scroll around the map. (A horizontal scrolling mouse wheel and Windows Vista or later are required for scrolling left/right) * Hold Shift while scrolling down/up or use the 4th/5th mouse buttons to scroll left/right. (For mice without horizontal scrolling mouse wheels or pre-Vista machines) * Press WASD to scroll around the map (can be disabled). * Press Esc to open the game's Options menu (which, normally, requires pressing F10). * Press F6-F8 and F10-F12 a second time to toggle their functions off (rather than having to press a different key to). * Press Shift + F10 to show and hide this list. * Press Shift + F11 to toggle scrolling with WASD. * Press Shift + F12 to toggle auto-selecting units and structures while holding middle click. * Press and hold Backspace to delete characters until released (rather than needing to press it repeatedly). * Press Pause/Break to pause and un-pause the helper (disabling and re-enabling all above features). Instructions: Simply run WarcraftMouseHelper.exe and then run the game. (Optional) Create a shortcut that will run the helper and game together: 1. Click on the "Create shortcut" button on the helper's main window. 2. Drag and drop your existing shortcut onto the area at the top of the next window ..or.. Build a shortcut from scratch by selecting your DOSBox executable and, optionally, your DOSBox .conf file and game executable. (Both options will create a new shortcut that runs the helper, then DOSBox (+ the game), then exit the helper when DOSBox exits) Configuration: There are a few options that you can configure on first run, via the tray icon or via in-game hotkeys: * Whether to show the GUI window. Default: On. Applies only to running the helper by itself, not via shortcut. Toggle off to launch the helper silently to the tray. * Whether to exit when DOSBox exits. Default: On. Applies only to running the helper by itself, not via shortcut. Toggle off to leave the helper running. * Whether to enable scrolling the map with the WASD keys. Default: On. Hotkey: Shift+F11. Toggle off to have the WASD keys perform their normal command functions. * Whether to enable auto-selecting of units and structures while holding middle click. Default: On. Hotkey: Shift+F12. Toggle off if you accidentally trigger it while performing regular middle clicks. Notes: * Since right click is used for both move and harvest, peasants and peons that you try to move will automatically harvest nearby resources once they get to where you tried to move them. To avoid that, you may give an explicit move command with a middle click. * Since right click is used for both move and attack, moving a warrior to one of your own buildings or units will order him to attack it, so be careful about doing that (especially if giving orders on the minimap). To avoid that, you may give an explicit move command with a middle click. * If map scrolling is too fast or too slow, adjust "Key Scroll" in the game's Options. That applies to mouse wheel scrolling, too, since this helper simply maps the arrow keys to the mouse wheel. If it's still too fast or slow, adjust the "cycles" value in your DOSBox .conf file (ex. to 30000). * If anything doesn't work in fullscreen that works in windowed mode, try changing the "output" mode in your DOSBox .conf file. (ex. to "overlay"). Modification: This utility is simply a compiled AutoHotkey script. If you're not satisfied with the given mappings or functionality and would like to tweak them, the source script (WarcraftMouseHelper.ahk) is provided in the "src" folder. You will need to download AutoHotkey from www.autohotkey.com to compile it. In the folder where you installed/extracted AutoHotkey will be a "Compiler" folder. In there is Ahk2Exe.exe, which you can use to compile your modified WarcraftMouseHelper.ahk into a new WarcraftMouseHelper.exe. An icon for you to use is in the folder with WarcraftMouseHelper.ahk. You don't need to compile or worry about WarcraftMouseHelperFunctions.ahk (which mostly has code related to the GUI, not the game). It'll be included automatically when WarcraftMouseHelper.ahk is compiled. For help with using AutoHotkey, see the help file (AutoHotkey.chm) that comes with it. Star Wars Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast HD level loading screens ------------------------------------------------ by ND (Quiet Bob @ PCGW) This is a set of high-resolution loading screens for Jedi Outcast, for both mission mode and multiplayer levels. My aim was to replace the default set - which is extremely low-resolution - with better visuals, while staying as close to the original as possible. Loading screens in Jedi Outcast are basically screenshots of the levels. I recaptured them in full HD. These images were later rescaled to work in-game. I used high quality conversion in an effort to preserve most detail. The end result are loading screens which are of 16x higher resolution: the default set is only 256x256, mine are 1024x1024. I substituted two of the loading screens. The original ones used for Cairn: Bay and Yavin: Temple are taken from pre-rendered low-res FMVs. Since these can't be captured in high quality, I replaced them with in-engine screenshots from the corresponding levels. I also added a loading screen for Nar Shaddaa: Streets. Before and after image comparison: --------------------------------------------- Installation ------------ Just place the file Jedi_Outcast_HD_loading_screens.pk3 in your GameData\base\ directory. Enjoy!

What is this? This fix lets you change the FOV of the singleplayer campaign, including the size of the weapon model. It is simple to install and use and comes with a GUI for easy configuration. Overview Description Despite being a decent PC version, the singleplayer of Modern Warfare Remastered lacks the option to set the FOV. Even though the default FOV is not as horrible as in other Call of Duty games, it still makes the campaign unpleasant or outright unplayable for some people. This fix aims to fix this issue by providing an easy and convenient way to set the FOV for the game. Features Option to set the vertical FOV to almost arbitrary values Option to set the FOV scale of the weapon model Simple to install and use Easy to configure via a GUI and ingame bindings Important: This fix is specifically designed for the singleplayer campaign and will not work with the multiplayer version Instructions Supported Versions Steam Important: This fix relies on the layout of the executable. Although it uses techniques to make it more robust to modifications of the game, it might have to be updated when the game is patched Install The fix does not make any permanent changes to the system, the game or the configuration of the game and can easily be removed (see below). Extract the XInput1_3.dll and the MWRSPFovFixGUI.exe files to the main folder of the game. For example "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered\" Start the MWRSPFovFixGUI.exe to configure the fix as desired Start the game like you would normally, for example directly through Steam or Big Picture mode A few additional notes on the installation: You should hear a FOV Fix loaded message on game launch when the fix was loaded. This sound can be turned off in the config The GUI requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable package; both of which should already be installed on most systems. If you are having problems starting the program, you can download the required versions here and here Uninstall Remove the XInput1_3.dll from the game's main folder. Configuration To configure the fix you can use the GUI application. Remember that you can hover over almost any option with the mouse to get an explanatory tooltip. There are two FOV settings. The vertical FOV Base and the FOV Weapon Scale factor. The effective FOV is calculated by multiplying these two values. The scaling factor also affects the way the weapon is displayed in addition to the camera. By default the game uses a base FOV of 65.0 and a weapon scaling of 1.0. For a 16:9 27 inch display I am using a FOV Base of 66.0 and a FOV Weapon Scale of 1.15. Note that the settings can also be adjusted while in the game by using the corresponding keybindings. Additional Information What You Should Know Since the fix consists of an executable DLL-File, I could have put any harmful shenanigans in there. You just have to trust me that the file is clean. If you don't -- and why should you -- feel free to use a meta online virus scanner like VirusTotal to verify the file. Included here are two "defaultrenderconfig.xml" files used to increase draw distances/LOD distances further without creating any drawbacks or problems as much as possible. *High - is the standard version *Extreme - pushes it even further out, but this requires more VRAM and a faster storage device (RAMDisk or SSD) to work well. I generally recommend just the high version. To use these you need the Dunia Mod tools *Extract "common.dat" in "Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon\data_win32" *Make a backup of "defaultrenderconfig.xml" in "Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon\data_win32\common\engine\settings" and change the file name of the selected version to just "defaultrenderconfig.xml" and place it in the folder above. *Rename the default "common.dat" and "common.fat" to something else to preserve it after extracting and leave it where it is. *Now take the extracted "common" folder with the replaced "defaultrenderconfig.xml" and drag it on to "Gibbed.Dunia2.Pack.exe" This will create a new "common.dat" and "common.fat" in the "\data_win32" folder *In your "GamerProfile.xml" file in "\my games\Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon\" folder make sure in your "<RenderProfile>" section that you are NOT adding or modifying anything except "<CustomQuality>" or "<Post>" otherwise some stuff will not work.
