Oh that's nice, coincidentally I downloaded this game (once again) just yesterday! Any chance you could look into other aspects of the game, like making a proper "skip cutscenes" mod (that doesn't break in-game stuff depending on how early you skip, like the one that's available) and a mod to remove the inconvenient "skip" buttom prompt that randomly shows up while certain cutscenes are playing and just won't go away?

By the way, visiting your profile just made me realize you're the author of many relevant/essential fixes for different games, such as the NieR: Automata Input Overhaul Mod, the Metro and Dead Space mouse fixes and the id5 Tweaker, that's impressive, thank you for your work!

Thank you for the acknowledgment. Glad to read that you like my work.

Regarding the cutscene skip: Since the cutscenes are intertwined with the loading process, it seems to not be something that is simple to fix, as it would require a decent amount of reverse engineering of how loading is done. I thought about looking into the problem more deeply during my last playthrough, but I am unfortunately preoccupied with multiple other things right now.

Thanks for the fix! 😀

By the looks of it, this would conflict with MaxPayne3.FusionFix since ASI Loader uses dinput8.dll by default

EDIT: Added a fix to the page.

The tool allows to change the first-person FOV in real time and exceed the limit of 120. For convenience, it is also bundled with existing solutions, including FOV fixes and the cutscenes fix for ultrawide resolutions, so not all of the functions may be compatible with an already patched exe.
Download the archive and unpack it with software like PeaZip using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Press the hotkeys as instructed to enable or disable the fixes in real time. All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software.
Contains the interactions FOV fix and ultrawide fixes based on killer-m's work, as well as an FOV check fix from Wintermance.

Tested the latest Ubisoft Connect version at 2560x1080, 2560x1440 and 5760x1080.

Compared to the existing solutions from WSGF made to remove the black bars appearing in the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions, this tool perfectly matches the vertical field of view of each scene to that of 16:9, also allowing to see and adjust the current FOV in real time.
Download the archive and unpack it using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Apply the fix before the main menu appears or at the main menu before loading into a game. All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software.
Inspired in part by killer-m's work.
Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.

Note that the game uses two FOV values: A vertical base FOV and a scaling factor; which also affects the “size” of the weapon. The effective FOV is calculated by using both of these two values.

A total overhaul of the old Flawless Widescreen script for GTA V that has been dysfunctional for many months if not longer.
As before, it allows for fine-tuning of FOV per each view - first person, in-vehicle, ADS, and third person. It also allows to remove the pillarboxing at cutscenes at 21:9 and wider, although having the latter enabled may cause some confirmation prompts to disappear at 32:9 and wider until disabled.
Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). Launch Flawless Widescreen, select Grand Theft Auto V (updated) and set everything to preference. Tested the latest game version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080.
