Deliver Us The Moon ultrawide & multimonitor mod, FOV changer 2.0.1

About This File

Option 1 (patchers):

  • Unpack the patcher archive and use the applicable tool to patch the exe in \MoonMan\Binaries\Win64\ within the main folder.
  • This will adjust FOV to match the vertical of 16:9.
  • The tool also aims to remove all pillarboxing except from pre-rendered cutscenes but this may come at the cost of reduced FOV in the starting cutscene. Some further cutscenes are confirmed as having more horizontal FOV but there is no way to guarantee every cutscene will display correctly without playing through the game.

Option 2 (trainer, supports Microsoft Store):

  1. Unpack the trainer / Game Pass archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw
  2. Launch the game
  3. Launch the tool
  4. Press the black bars removal key before a cutscene and use the other buttons to adjust FOV as desired

Tested the latest GOG and Microsoft Store versions at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.

Hey, can you update this for the newest patch? On GOG it says the newest one is 1.4.1a

Thanks! :-)

Is it normal that Windows defender detects "occamy.c" once the archive is unziped ?

I had the same issue, trojan detected by windows defender. I would warn anyone against using this.Ā

Compared to the existing solutions from WSGF made to remove the black bars appearing in the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions, this tool perfectly matches the vertical field of view of each scene to that of 16:9, also allowing to see and adjust the current FOV in real time.
Download the archive and unpack it using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Apply the fix before the main menu appears or at the main menu before loading into a game. All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software.
Inspired in part by killer-m's work.
Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.

The small patcher allows any resolution to be selected in the game.
Unpack the archive and follow the instructions of the tool.

Tested the latest Steam version briefly at 2560x1080.

The small patcher and trainer forĀ Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance remove black bars appearing in the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions.

      For the Microsoft Store version,
Download and unpack the applicable archive using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Press the button as shown to toggle the black bars off and on. For Steam,
Unpack the Shipping exe found in /CotH/Binaries/Win64/ with Steamless (like this). Download the applicable archive from here and patch the unpacked file renamed to match the original. Simply patching should work for any other versions.

Tested the latest Game Pass version at 2560x1080 and briefly at 5760x1080.

You need to have Cheat Engine installed, then launch the game, open the table, attach it to the process and use the hotkeys:
      Ā
      F4 - activate the mod
F5 - reset FoV to default
      F6 - Increase FoV
      F7 - Decrease FoV
      F8 - Set FoV to default +30Ā°
      Ā
Quick video to show the mod in action: https://streamable.com/2iosxc
      Ā
      Known issues:
If you set an offset too high or too low the camera will flip upside down, just press F5 to reset it.
In-engine cutscenes are also affected, things that weren't supposed to be in the shot may behave oddly.
Vehicle weapon crosshairs may be off-center (higher) when using higher FoV, just aim a bit higher than the actual target.

The tools for Microsoft Store, Steam, and other versions remove black bars from the cutscenes and dialogue, perfectly matching the vertical FOV to 16:9.
Run the game once and apply any resolution. In order to force the game to use your resolution, open GameUserSettings.ini and modify the values of ResolutionSizeX and ResolutionSizeY as needed. Download the archiveĀ corresponding to your platform and unpack using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the trainer. Enable or disable the fix in real time by pressing the specified button. All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software.
Tested the latest Game Pass version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Steam version tested by a 32:9 WSGF user.
