  1. Bypass Humble Store regional price increase using PCGamingWiki's widget list

    Humble Store announced that regional pricing has now been introduced for Euro and British territories. Whilst this isn't a shock in itself (and something that Green Man Gaming implemented recently) it is surprising to see that prices mostly match Steam's regional pricing, which means that European and British users will be charged anything up to 30% more than what they used to pay under the US dollar pricing.

  5. Uplay preventing players from launching Watch Dogs on PC

    Players looking forward to experiencing Watch Dogs on PC on launch day will be disappointed to find that it's currently impossible to login to the game at all.

     

    Uplay is required to launch the game, and those currently attempting to connect will be faced with the above "Login failed" screen as Uplay authentication servers are being hammered by the usual launch day problems.

    Call of Duty: Ghost launched today and oh boy it isn't pretty launch for PC version. Steam Community Discussions are full of very angry players unable to run the game at all because of this (and few other problems) lovely error message: Your system memory (RAM) does not meet minimum specification for running Call of Duty: Ghosts.

  7. Humble Bundle's DRM-free version of Worms Reloaded does not support online multiplayer

    The current Humble Bundle for Android 7 includes a version of Worms Reloaded which has omitted any multiplayer support in its DRM-free version. Multiplayer is supported only through Steamworks, and can only be accessed by redeeming the supplied Steam key.

  11. GOG.com announces GOG.com Galaxy client

    In today's GOG.com/CD Projekt RED Stream they announced a new client called "GOG.com Galaxy". They already have the GOG.com Downloader and a "client" which helps update the games you get from GOG, I believe this is just a rebranding of that client. Details are currently sparse, so if anyone has any more information please post it!

    My Client has been putting me into "Kid Mode", i have not configured or set it up at all, and you cant turn it odd without a PIN which again "I never setup". only way to get out is to sign out and Back in, but shortly after browsing my library it turns it back on again.

  19. Batman: Arkham Origins developer apologize for bugs

    Batman: Arkham Origins had pretty painful release. Although technically the game is alright (see our technical review), there are numerous game breaking bugs and glitches within game scripts. Since its release last week, Batman received two patches that fixes some of the problems and this evening Warner Bros. issued official statement.
