Jane's Fighters Anthology -- anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a question regarding the PC Gaming article regarding the old aerial combat sim, "Jane's Fighters Anthology."

In the article, under "Video Settings," it says:

Anisotropic filtering (AF)     [hackable icon]     Use DXGL and force anisotropic through the Configurator for DXGL.

Anti-aliasing (AA)     [hackable icon]     Use DXGL and force antialiasing through the Configurator for DXGL.

Is it really possible to use Anisotropic filtering and Anti-aliasing when running Fighters Anthology? Is it possible to get in touch with the person who wrote the article?

Thanks very much,

Apparently you can find it here.

You'll have to build it by yourself though, I wonder if there's already a release ready thing.

You'll need Visual Studio if you are on Windows.

Here you can get VS.

https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/products/visual-studio-community-vs.aspx

Follow the video from that wiki page on how to build the installer so that you can get DXGL setup.
